Today, I'd like to introduce some useful English expressions related to novel Coronavirus.
Since last March, we've heard and seen a lot of news reports about Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on TV, the radio, and websites.
This virus affects all of our lives, and changes our life.
For instance, we need to wash hands more frequently and more carefully when necessary.
Also, we should wear a face mask when going outside.
Plus, wherever possible especially crowded places, we ought to keep a distance with others.
Even under this situation, we have to run a business every day, and today I'd like to introduce some useful English expressions for food service industry and other service industries.

・Please wait in line at a safe distance. （安全な距離で列にお並びください）
・Please keep a safe distance of at least 1 meter. （少なくとも１メートルの安全な距離を取ってください）
・Please keep a 2-meter distance from others.（他の人と２メートルの距離を取ってください）

Today's expression is "ご来店の際はマスク着用をお願いいたします (Goraiten-no-sai-wa mask-chakuyo-wo onegai-itashimasu" in English.

・Please wear a face mask when you visit us.
・Please wear a face mask when you enter our shop (restaurant).

English Plus has some SNS sites including this blog and our official website.
In addition to these, we have YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook and so on.
We frequently update these, and we recently started our new "Learning English tool" with our Instagram.
With this learning English tool, you can enjoy learning English.
We use "Instagram Reels" with this tool, and we sometimes hear from our students that they don't know how to use Reels.

If you want to know how to use, please check out this movie.
You can try this learning English tool from your smart phone, tablet computer, PC.
Just click English Plus' Instagram, and click「英語学習ツール」tab.
The contents of this tool are from our lesson and for improving basic English skills.
Anyone can use it and if you answer the question and write down your answer on the comment place, our mascot character "EPman" may reply to you sometime.

Because there is no medicine or cure for COVID-19 so far, in most countries, the situation of COVID-19 is getting worse.
This is surely bad news for people all over the world, and I hope the spread of Coronavirus infections will settle down soon.
Even under this circumstance, some of us might need to send or might have a chance to send messages to someone in English.
Since COVID-19 vaccines started in some countries, today let's learn some English expressions about the current COVID-19 vaccines.
Today's expression is 「ワクチンが効くといいですね」in English.

・I hope COVID-19 vaccines will be effective.
・I hope getting COVID-19 shots will work well.
