Today, let's learn about some basic conversational expressions in English.
English Plus is a small English language school for both adults and kids.
About kids lessons, there are two kids' courses available; one is for "Junior high school students", and the other is for "Elementary school students."
The lesson for elementary school students is now for over 6 years old (more than elementary school grade 1) and they can learn some basic phonics, vocabulary, grammar, and some basic conversational expressions.
The aim of this kids course is that "we would like our students to master some basic English skills."
In the lesson, our students can learn a lot of vocabulary and expressions, and today let's learn about some basic conversational expressions.
Today, let's learn some basic expressions which are imperative sentences.
Now, let's try some quiz - please read the following Japanese & change each word into English. (Answers are below.)

1. A:「ここでは走らないで」B:「ごめんなさい」
2. A:「急いで、おとうさん」B:「今行くよ」

After checking the answers in English, let's try to read them aloud.

Today, I'd like to write about the decorations for Christmas 2023 at English Plus.
Christmas is about a month away and we've begun decorating the inside of English Plus for Christmas this year too.
Thanks to our staff's efforts, English Plus' atmosphere is becoming more like Christmas now.
If you have a chance to visit us, please check out the decorations.
Also, we'll update the inside English Plus on our Instagram, Twitter, and so on, so if you have time, please check some of our Christmas decorations online.
We hope you can feel the Christmas atmosphere, and our students can enjoy learning English in this festive atmosphere.

Today, let's practice some English phrases for English only week at English Plus.
At English Plus, we hold "English Only Week" every once a month.
During this week, all of our students must speak only English during lessons.
The next term is from this coming Tuesday to Saturday, August 29th - September 2nd.
If they speak Japanese, there is a small penalty waiting for them.
So, today I'd like to introduce some English phrases that might be useful during English Only Week.
For instance...

・言おうとしていたことを忘れました ＝ It slipped my mind.
・ここまで出かかっているんだけど ＝ It's on the tip of my tongue.

Let's try only English next week!

Today, I'd like to write about one of our lesson programs for "Elementary school students".
Since English Plus started in 2011, we have prepared and offered a lot of lessons for both adults and kids.
We have both "Group lessons", and "Private lessons."
"Group lessons" consist of max 4 students in a class, so teachers can pay attention to every student in a class.
Group lessons for adults are 90-min, and for kids are 60-min.
Currently, we have 2 courses for "Kids" - Elementary school students and Junior high school students.

・Elementary school student basic English lesson (小学生用基礎英語・フォニックスクラス)
Since June 2023, this lesson is available for elementary school students over grade 1.
In this lesson, students can learn some basic phonics and acquire well-balanced basic English skills.

・Junior high school basic English lesson (中学生用基礎英語&基礎英会話クラス）
This is for junior high school students and good for those who are thinking about trying Eiken exam too.

Also, kids students can take "Private lesson" (45min) too.
One advantage of "Private lesson" is they can learn English at their own pace.

Today, I'd like to write about our lesson programs for "Elementary school students" and "Junior high school students" at English Plus.

・Junior high school basic English lesson (中学生用基礎英語・基礎英会話クラス）: This is for junior high school students and good for those who are thinking about trying Eiken exam too (60min)

In addition to our group lessons, we have "Private lesson." (45min)
One advantage of "Private lesson" is they can learn English at their own pace.
Also, our private lessons can be customized, so even if a student is using an original textbook at his/her junior high school, no problem because we can arrange the lessons according to each student's purpose or goal.

本日のブログは“自分の英語に自信がない…自分の間違いに自分で気づける基礎英語力をつける第一歩！English Plusレッスン受講生用2021年6月第2週英語レッスンの復習（日本語編）”です。

English Plusではレッスン中は特に、受講生に間違いを恐れることなく英語を話してもらうようにサポートしています。

レッスン内では学んだ語彙・文法を使って、できる限り「自分の言葉で英文を作り、英語でコミュニケーションができる基礎英語力の習得」を目指しています。

９０分間のレッスン内では、基本的に“英語のみ”なので、時に会話のトピック（自分のことや、日常生活、社会一般の事など）が難しい話題になったりもしますが、レッスン受講生は自分の持っている英語力を駆使してがんばっています。

English Plusでは、どのような場面やトピックでも自分の英語力で乗り切れるえるように、基礎の部分となる基礎英語力（自分で英文が自由に作れる英語力）をつけるためにレッスンや自己学習をサポートしていますが、その基礎英語力の大事な中の１つに“自分の英語の間違いに気づける英語力”があります。

今日はこの“自分の英語の間違いに気づける英語力”の復習と題し、２０２１年６月第２週のレッスン受講生の英語の間違いから英語の復習・トレーニングをしていきたいと思います。

早速、下記の文の間違いに気づいてみましょう。（答えは下記にありますので、よろしければご確認ください）

1. Before came here, I drank a cup of coffee.
2. He don’t kind.
3. I came here in Wednesday evening.
4. There are a lot of colors and I can’t choose it.
5. You’re enough young to study abroad.
6. Dubai is my favorite country.

毎週火曜日～土曜日、English Plusの通常レッスン（高校生以上の大人向け最大４名までの９０分グループレッスン、小学生向け・中学生向け最大４名までの６０分グループレッスンなど）にお入りいただける体験レッスンを随時実施しております。詳しくはEnglish Plusの公式ホームページからお気軽にご相談ください。最高な英語教育サービスを提供します。

Today, I'd like to write about the decorations for Christmas 2021 at English Plus.
Christmas is about a month away and we've begun decorating the inside of English Plus for Christmas this year too.
Thanks to our staff's efforts, English Plus' atmosphere is becoming more like Christmas now although it's still half way through.
If you have a chance to visit us, please check out the decorations, and we'll update the inside English Plus on our Instagram, Twitter, and so on.
If you have time, please check some of our Christmas decorations online.
We hope you can feel the Christmas atmosphere, and our students can enjoy learning English in this festive atmosphere.
