Today, let's learn some English phrases you can use in our daily business.
In our daily business, you may have some opportunities to communicate with clients and customers.
In such interactions, there may be times when you want to say, "Please give me a reply."
So, today we would like to learn some English expressions that can be used in emails and phone calls when you want to say "please reply" in this way.

・Could you please let us know what you have decided by next Friday? (来週の金曜日までにご決断をお知らせ願えますでしょうか？)
・We'd really appreciate if you let us know about your final decision by next Friday. (来週の金曜日までに最終決定をお知らせいただければ幸いです)
・We would like to hear from you by next Friday. (来週の金曜日までにお返事いただきたいのですが)

If you have a chance to use these English expressions, try to use some.
When you use it, use it in a clear audible voice.

おはようございます。東京都港区田町の英語学校English Plus英語講師のarataです。

English Plusでは、小学生から大人まで『使える基礎英語力』をしっかり・楽しく・着実に身につける「実用的な英語レッスン」を提供しています。

しっかり・楽しく・着実に基礎英語力を身につけるためにEnglish Plusでは「４名までの完全少人数制」「９０分レッスン（キッズ６０分レッスン）」「レッスン内での英語の間違い・質問大歓迎！」「初心者でも安心して受講できる」環境を整えており、また「自己学習サポート」を提供しています。


本日のブログは“自分の英語に自信がない…自分の間違いに自分で気づける基礎英語力をつける第一歩！English Plusレッスン受講生用2021年7月第1週英語レッスンの復習（日本語編）”です。

English Plusではレッスン中は特に、受講生に間違いを恐れることなく英語を話してもらうようにサポートしています。

レッスン内では学んだ語彙・文法を使って、できる限り「自分の言葉で英文を作り、英語でコミュニケーションができる基礎英語力の習得」を目指しています。

９０分間のレッスン内では、基本的に“英語のみ”なので、時に会話のトピック（自分のことや、日常生活、社会一般の事など）が難しい話題になったりもしますが、レッスン受講生は自分の持っている英語力を駆使してがんばっています。

English Plusでは、どのような場面やトピックでも自分の英語力で乗り切れるえるように、基礎の部分となる基礎英語力（自分で英文が自由に作れる英語力）をつけるためにレッスンや自己学習をサポートしていますが、その基礎英語力の大事な中の１つに“自分の英語の間違いに気づける英語力”があります。

今日はこの“自分の英語の間違いに気づける英語力”の復習と題し、２０２１年７月第１週のレッスン受講生の英語の間違いから英語の復習・トレーニングをしていきたいと思います。

早速、下記の文の間違いに気づいてみましょう。（答えは下記にありますので、よろしければご確認ください）

1. Before I came to here, I study English for 1 hour.
2. One of the most tough thing is talking with our clients.
3. I saw a movie which title is Father.

スムーズかつ自然に正しい英文が口からすぐに出てくる基礎英語力アップのために、学んだ後は音読トレーニング等の復習・トレーニングを重ねましょう。

Today, let's learn some useful expressions that can be used in business e-mail.
I imagine a lot of you have a chance to send e-mails in your daily business.
What vocabulary and expressions you use in your e-mail depends on your job, and industry; however, at the end of each business e-mail, you need to finish your e-mail with a closing.
If you send a business e-mail to your clients, whom you are really close to, you can use a very casual and friendly closing.
So, today, let's learn some friendly closing phrases, for instance...

・See you soon,
・Talk to you soon,
・Take care,
・Have a nice day.
・Have a wonderful weekend.
・I look forward to seeing you next time.

There are some other closings that I couldn't introduce here.
If you find a good closing phrase, I recommend you use it.

Since this past March, we have heard or seen a lot of news reports about Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) on TV, the radio, and websites.
In every day's news, they say more and more people are still infected with the Coronavirus all around the world.
This is surely bad news for people all over the world, and I hope the spread of Coronavirus infections will settle down soon and things will get back to normal.
Under this circumstance, you might sometimes need to work and send a message to your foreign business clients, partners, colleagues, or friends overseas.
In this situation, in a message, you can tell them your city's current situation (e.g. Tokyo).
So, today, let's learn some useful expressions in English.
For instance:

・It seems that the situation with the Coronavirus in Tokyo is has settled down a little bit but I am still concerned about it..
・The number of patients with COVID-19 in Tokyo has been not so many recently but I am still worried about this situation.

In this situation, in a message, you can care about others, and today, let's learn some useful expressions in English.
For instance:

・It's a very difficult time for all of us because of the Coronavirus, but let's try our best.
・The situation is not good for everyone due to the COVID-19, but let's do the best we can.
