Good morning and I appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, I'd like to write about one of the benefits of small class size.
The average number of students in one class at English Plus is between two and three.
Actually, English Plus' class is up to four people in one class.
I can say that the number of students in one classroom is up to four (or five) is small class size.
Speaking of small class size, there are different class sizes to teach English, such as "one-to-one (private) class", "medium number (about 5~10 students) class" and "big number (about 10~25 students) class."
From my teaching experience, each class size has its advantages and disadvantages, but the reason we have a small class size (1~4 students) is that it is the most effective class size to learn basic English skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) and practice communicative English.
From instructor's view, one of small number class lessons' benefits is...
"students can speak a lot during lessons."
Since it's a small class and the maximum number of students is four, students have a lot of chance to practice speaking English during lessons.
If students have more time to practice speaking English, they can improve their English skills faster!
The lessons at English Plus are 90 minutes and there is a lot of time to practice speaking English.
