本日は新しいシリーズ“とっさのひとこと英語 - 外出しそうな上司を引きとめる時のビジネス英語”です。

この“とっさのひとこと英語”シリーズでは“一言で役に立つ英語表現”を書いていきたいと思います。

さて、今日のシチュエーションはビジネスのワンシーンからです。

“あなたはいつも忙しい上司に書類をチェックしてもらいたいのですが、上司はとても忙しく、次のアポのため、今またすぐにオフィスを出ようとしているところです。ここで上司を呼び止めるには何と言えば適切でしょうか？”

答えは下記の英語の中に書いてあるので、見つけてみましょう！！

In this "Instant Useful English", you can learn very short but useful expressions!!
Ok, now imagine the following situation...
You want your busy boss to check your document and get his sign on it, but your boss is about to leave the office because of his next appointment.
In this case, what would you say?
(If it's really urgent, you can say...)
"Wait!"
(But, if "Wait!" sounds too strong, you can say...)
"Sorry, sir. I know you are busy, but could you check out this document and sign here at the bottom?"
