Summer memories of my childhood.

When I was 6 years old I went to my grandmother's hometown, Inawashiro, in Fukushima Prefecture.

I used to go to there during my summer vacations.

One hot day I went bathing in a creek beside the rice field.

About ten local children were playing in the water there.

Both boys and girls were swimming naked.

Only I was wearing swimming trunks.

While I played, I got stuck in deep water and started to drown.

Then a cute little girl helped me.

She saved my life.

I wonder how she is now?

In spite of my swimsuit I was the only child not able to swim.

It is an embarrassing sweet and sour memory of my childhood.
