I walked along the Senkawa water supply canal from the Sakai bridge to the Ise bridge with my daughter, her husband and my wife on the 2nd of July.

We started out from Musashisakai Station on the Chuo Line to Kamisyakujii Station on the SeibuLine.

When we had walked about 800m from the station to the north, we reached the Sakai bridge on the Tamagawa water supply canal where water was diverted to the Senkawa water supply canal.

The Senkawa canal was made by Syogun Tokugawa Tsunayoshi.

We walked along the Senkawa canal to Kamisyakujii Station.

The canal is about 22km until Sugamo in Toshima Ward.

There are many bridges and alot of carp in the canal.

We walked about 9km and the number of steps was 18,000 steps.

After we arrived at our destination we had a late lunch at the Isomaru Suisan in front of the Kamisyakujii station.

The draft beer was very good.

We started out from Musashisakai Station.
