『Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree(邦題：幸せの黄色いﾘﾎﾞﾝ）』（は、米国のﾎﾟｯﾌﾟｽ-ｸﾞﾙｰﾌﾟ､Tony Orlando & Dawn（ﾄﾆｰ･ｵｰﾗﾝﾄﾞ＆ﾄﾞｰﾝ）が1973年にﾘﾘｰｽしたｼﾝｸﾞﾙです。作詞はIrwin Levine（ｱｰｳｨﾝ･ﾚｳﾞｨﾝ）。作曲はL. Russell Brown（L･ﾗｯｾﾙ･ﾌﾞﾗｳﾝ）です。歌詞には口頭伝承の元ネタがあります。「刑務所を出所した男が故郷に帰ろうとしていた。男は出所前に手紙を出し「もし、自分の帰りが望まれるなら、木の幹に黄色いﾘﾎﾞﾝを結んでおいてほしい」と頼んでいた。男は汽車に乗って故郷の近くまで来るが、勇気がiなくてI、車中で知り合った男に木を見てもらう。木の幹にはたくさんの黄色いリボンが結ばれていた。」というものです。ｼﾞｬｰﾅﾘｽﾄで小説家のﾋﾟｰﾄ･ﾊﾐﾙは、この曲の歌詞は、この伝承を元に1971年､『ﾆｭｰﾖｰｸ･ﾎﾟｽﾄ』紙に掲載した自身のｺﾗﾑ「Going Home」を基づいたものだとして提訴しましたが、このｺﾗ以前にもこの伝承をまとめた文献があることが示され、訴訟は取り下げられました。そして、それは1977年に日本で『幸福の黄色いﾊﾝｶﾁ』として映画化されました。ｼﾝｸﾞﾙはﾋﾞﾙﾎﾞｰﾄﾞ誌では､1973年、週間ﾗﾝｷﾝｸﾞ、年間ﾗﾝｷﾝｸﾞ共に1位､日本のｵﾘｺﾝ洋楽ｼﾝｸﾞﾙ･ﾁｬｰﾄ3週連続1位を記録しました。

そして､Perry Comoは‎1973年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”And I Love You So”､Ray Conniff And The Singersは‎‎1973年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”You Are The Sunshine Of My Life”､

The Brothers Fourは‎‎1976 年  ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Now”､ｶﾝﾄﾘｰ･ﾐｭｰｼﾞｯｸの第一人者として知られているDolly Parton（ﾄﾞﾘｰ･ﾊﾟｰﾄﾝ）は‎2003年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”For God And Country”に曲を収録しています。

 この曲は､1971年の『Hilltop』という画期的なﾃﾚﾋﾞｺﾏｰｼｬﾙの「Buy the World a Coke」 として始まったﾎﾟｯﾌﾟｿﾝｸﾞです。  これはCoca-Colaの責任者のMcCann Ericksonの広告担当役員であるBill Backer（ﾋﾞﾙ・ﾊﾞｯｶｰ）が企画､Billy Davis（ﾋﾞﾘｰ･ﾃﾞｲﾋﾞｽ）がﾌﾟﾛﾃﾞｭｰｽしました。元々 Roger Greenaway（ﾛｼﾞｬｰ･ｸﾞﾘｰﾝｱｳｪｲ）､Roger Cook（ﾛｼﾞｬｰ･ｸｯｸ）による､1971年のSusan Shirley（ｽｰｻﾞﾝ･ｼｬｰﾘｰ）のｼﾝｸﾞﾙ､”True Love and Apple Pie" をBilly Davisがｺｶｺｰﾗのﾗｼﾞｵｼﾞﾝｸﾞﾙに書き直したものです。それは1969年に解散したThe SeekersのﾒﾝﾊﾞｰであったKeith Potger（ｷｰｽ･ﾎﾞｶﾞｰ）が英国で結成されたThe New Seekersによって録音されました。そして、 The New Seekers(ﾋﾞﾙﾎﾞｰﾄﾞHot100‐7位、日本：ｵﾘｺﾝ１位）とThe Hillside Singers（ﾋﾞﾙﾎﾞｰﾄﾞ･ｱﾀﾞﾙﾄｺﾝﾃﾝﾎﾟﾗﾘｰ部門５位）によってﾌﾙﾚﾝｸﾞｽの曲として再録音され世界でﾋｯﾄﾚｺｰﾄﾞとなりました。

1957年､Alec Waugh（ｱﾚｯｸ･ｳｫｰ）の1955年の小説、『Island in the Sun（太陽の島）』 を基に20世紀Fox製作の同名の映画が封切られました。人口の九割を黒人が占めるｶﾘﾌﾞ海の架空の島を舞台とし､白人地主とHarry　Belafonte（ﾊﾘｰ･ﾍﾞﾗﾌｫﾝﾃ）が演ずる､教養ある黒人の雇われ人の対立を軸に展開する、人種間の問題や様々な恋愛を描いています。この映画のﾃｰﾏ曲をHarry　Belafonteが歌い､同年､ｼﾝｸﾞﾙをﾘﾘｰｽしました。

なお､The Brothers Four は1963年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Cross-Country　Concert”､　The Righteous Brothers ‎は1966年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Go Ahead And Cry”､ｼﾞｬﾏｲｶのﾚｹﾞｴ･ｸﾞﾙｰﾌﾟ､The Paragons （ﾊﾟﾗｺﾞﾝｽﾞ）は‎1967年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”On The Beach”､ｼﾞｬﾏｲｶのｶﾘﾌﾟｿ･ｼﾝｶﾞｰであり､ﾊﾟｰｶｯｼｮﾆｽﾄのLord Tannamo  （ﾛｰﾄﾞ･ﾀﾅﾓ）は‎1978年､ｱﾙﾊﾞﾑ”Calypso Reggae”に曲を収録しました。

Uu2019年、ﾃﾞﾋﾞｭｰ60周年を迎えた「ﾌﾞﾗﾌｫｰ」が、３年ぶりに来日、最後の全国ﾂｱｰ（５/26～６/20)を行いました。そして、６/22には香港でも公演があり、その模様がＹｏｕＴｕｂｅに投稿されていましたので、紹介します。
