新コロナウィルス：死亡確認97（総数908）を数えるが

BBC Coronavirus claims 97 lives in one day - but number of infections stabilises 10 Feb 2020

「The number of people killed by the new coronavirus rose by 97 on Sunday, the highest number of casualties in a day.

The total number of deaths in China is now 908 - but the number of newly-infected people per day has stabilised.

Across China, 40,171 people are infected while 187,518 are under medical observation.」

　ならば死者908に対して現在の確認患者数40,171+治癒数3281（+死者自身の908を足して）死亡率は2.089％（ないし2.047％）。

　中国在留者によらないヒト-ヒト感染者は、これは氷山の一角だろうというにはいうが、しかし

　たとえば客船「ダイヤモンド・プリンセス」の例は、おそらくそうした例の一つに数えられよう。しかし中国本土の死亡率をそのまま適用するなら、同船では少なくとも2名の死者がでていないとおかしい、という計算になる。いやまあこういう計算もどうかと思われるが、とりあえず計算上、そうなる。が、あまり死にそうでない（結構なことだが）。とすると、『実のところ、このウィルスは大変広まりやすい風邪の一種で、既往症や何らかの意味で衰弱した人物が止めを刺される格好で死んでいる』という仮説はそこそこありえそう、ということにならないか。
