Confucius is confused

・Confucius is confused.
共感したのは上の二点だけでした。"Confucius is confused." は単に一種の駄洒落ですが、これに相当する孔子の迷言・名言は実際にあるでしょうか？
「知らざるを知らずとなす。これ知るなり」・"Confess your ignorance, and you will escape ignorance." これなど当てはまりませんか？　要は知ったかぶりをするなと云う事でもありますが、それを知るなりと云うのは "Confucius is confused." と言えませんか。

baby's breath

Over by the opposite wall were arrangements of red rosebuds and baby's breath on glass tables set in front of two large couches. Overlooking the couches was a mural--a tile mosaic of a gondola in a Venitian canal.
"baby's breath" は何かの植物名の様ですが何でしょう？

カスミソウを連想しますが、ピンクのカスミソウは見たことがありません。"baby's breath picture"でGoogle検索をすると花の写真がでてきますが、カスミソウの様でもあり、違う花の様でもあります。それにしても "baby's breath" とはしゃれた名前ですね。
