The DXpedition team of Murray WA4DAN, Randy N0TG and Ron AA4VK have announced their October 2009 DXpedition to Sable Island CY0.

Permission to visit Sable Island has been approved.
The exact dates in October are not known at this point.

The date will depend on the operational requirements at Sable and cost-sharing with the charter aircraft (may be from 7th to 14th)

We plan to have three stations operational for at least a week with verticals, yagi antennas and amps.

This is the same team that operated from Navassa KP1 in 1992, Desecheo KP5 in Dec 92/Jan93 and St Paul's Island CY9 in 1995. Murray WA4DAN was team leader of the 1996 CY0XX DXpedition to Sable that netted over 25,000 Q's.

More details will be announced in the coming months.
