と疑問に思っておりましたが、答えの1つが2014年7月2日付のAncient Originsのニュースにありました。
トルコの古代都市アソスで、奇妙な石棺が発見されています。アルミニウムを多く含む石板で出来た石棺は、肉や骨を40日程で分解し(溶かし)、跡形もなく、この世から存在を消してしまう仕掛けの箱です。衛生上の古代人の知恵とでもいうのでしょうか‥。
