古代ギリシア人は、１秒の長さを正確に知っていた可能性があります。
ちょうどオクターブ＋１ちがう音を、重ねれば、正確に１秒の長さを知ることができます。
ピタゴラスは、いわゆるピタゴラス音階というのを発見しています。
