アメリカ臭いタグですよね。

こちらが本日、ご紹介させて頂きますDEER ISLAND RANCH COATになります。

9.7オンスの起毛加工を施しましたコットンフランネルを纏いました男臭いランチコートになります。

僕的には、この色目に先ず惹かれまして、このトリコロールの配色に弱いですね。

其の後よくよくお品を拝見致しますと、

只のネルシャツかと思いきや、コットンフランネルを使用しましたアウターだったのです。

This is the DEER ISLAND RANCH COAT that we would like to introduce to you today.

A masculine lunch coat made of 9.7 oz brushed cotton flannel.

Personally, I am attracted to this color first, and I have a soft spot for this tricolor color scheme.

After that, I looked at the item carefully,

ニューバランスの900番台より優しく包み込まれる感じがございますね！

（アメリカでは滅茶苦茶売れてますよ！）と友人でも在るシアトル在住のMさんが常々話しておりました

（Mさんは米国のKARHUの代理店をしております。）

(It's selling like crazy in America!), my friend M who lives in Seattle always tells me.

(Mr. M is a KARHU agent in the United States.)

KARHUをボーイズでも展開始めました！

日本ではあまり馴染みの無いブランドかもしれませんが、其の創業は1916年とかなりの老舗なんです。

フィンランドで最初は、白樺でスキー板などを製造販売しておりましたが、其の後スニーカーも製造を始めまして

1920年アントワープで開催されましたオリンピックでは、KARHUを履いたアスリートが９個の金メダルを取得されました

其の後も、各オリンピックで使用されまして色々なアスリートの方がこぞって履いていたそうです。

そういう理由で今でも全米のスポーツ店では、かなりの実績があるそうです。

フィンランドのCEOも米国のCEOもランニングをされているそうで、各国にもKARHUのランニングチームは存在する

そうです。

そんなアンバサダーからアドバイスも受けまして改良を加えて毎シーズン新しいモデルが発表されるそうです。

その中でも、僕が一目惚れしましたのが、

Mestariはフィンランド語でチャンピオンだそうです。

実はTHREE STRIPESもKARHUが商標登録して使用しておりましたが、今では有名なスポーツブランドに商標を売却

したそうなんです。

其の後はMロゴのみ使用しております。

The M logo on the side has also been registered as a trademark and shines as a symbol of KARHU.

This M logo is said to be the initials of Mestari.

Mestari means champion in Finnish.

Actually, THREE STRIPES was also registered as a trademark by KARHU, but now the trademark has been sold to a famous sports brand.

1890年創業の老舗ニット専業メーカーとなります。

今回のカーディガンは、ドネガルヤーンで別注しております。

ですから雰囲気的にドネガルツィードみたいなネップが散りばめられました最も英国臭い雰囲気も醸し出されております。

The knitter will be Athena Designs from Scotland.

We are a long-established knitwear manufacturer founded in 1890.

This cardigan is custom-made from Donegal yarn.

Therefore, the atmosphere is sprinkled with nep like Donegal tweed, creating the most British atmosphere.

一枚一枚スコットランドの女性が手作業で編み立てております。

その編み手のサインもネームタグに記載しております。

スコットランドでも編み手の高齢化に基づきまして、今後このようなハンドニットが継承していけるか大きな問題となって

いるそうです。

毎年、お値段も上がっておりますので購入された時がお買い得なのかもしれませんね。

偶然TAIONの展示会を拝見させて頂きまして、

（僕自身、五郎などの夕方や夜の散歩にパタゴニアやロッキーマウンテンのダウンパンツを愛用しております。）

最初、私的ですが自分自身のダウンパンツを、物色しておりますと、

I happened to see the TAION exhibition,

At first, I was looking for my own down pants.

こちらのミリタリー調のひょうたんキルティングを発見しまして、着用した処、

I discovered this military-style gourd quilting and wore it.

この生地感（ソフトシェルで柔らかくて着心地や肌触りも良いです）や通常この手合いのインナーダウンの場合

600フィルが多いのですが800フィルのダウンが混入されておりまして、クオリティー自身も高いのに感動させられました

さすがインナーダウンに特化したブランドだけありますね。

其の後でお値段を聞きまして、これまたビックリ！

This is the texture of the fabric (soft shell, soft and comfortable to wear) and this type of inner down.

Most of them are 600 fill, but they contain 800 fill down, and I was impressed by the high quality.

As expected, there are only brands that specialize in inner down.

After that, I was surprised again when I heard the price!

初夏にも成ればチノパンやジーパンは暑くて遠慮されがちになってくると思いますが、そういう時期には

チノパンとの違いは、やはり涼しさも有るのですが、麻素材でしか味わえない肌触り（シャリ感）や

チノパンのコットン特有のシワ感も素敵なのですが、麻には麻特有のシワ感が有りますので

こんな感じでセンタープレスも入っておりますが、履いて頂きますとセンタープレスも消えて丸い感じになってきますね。

カジュアルでお楽しみ頂くのであれば、丸い感じで履いて頂くのもベストかと思います。

もしジャケットなどとコーディネィト為さる際には、アイロンなどでプレスを入れて頂くか、

クリーニング屋さんにお願いするのも一つの手だと思います。

その際、水洗いもお願いするのも得策かと思いますね。
