We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, let's practice English from English Plus' lessons.
At English Plus, we encourage our students to try to speak English a lot especially during lessons.
Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through the lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.
Now, let's find errors from our lessons during the first week of October in 2022 below.

English Plus is a small English language school for both adults and kids.
There are two kids' courses available; one is for "Junior high school students", and the other is for "Elementary school students."
The lesson for elementary school students is for over 9 years old (more than elementary school grade 3) and they can learn some basic phonics, vocabulary and grammar.
The aim of this kids course is that "we would like our students to master some basic English skills."
In the lesson, our students can learn a lot of vocabulary and expressions, and today let's learn some basic vocabulary about how to describe taste.
Now, let's try some quiz - please translate Japanese into English. (Answers are below.)

1. 甘い
2. 辛い
3. おいしい
4. 脂っこい

After mastering the vocabulary, let's try to make sentences, such as "Last night I ate ... food."

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, let's learn and practice basic English.
There are a wide variety of lessons available at English Plus, and one of them is "Skill-Up Conversation".
This Skill-Up Conversation has 6 different levels, and students can learn and practice basic English vocabulary, grammar, expressions, and pronunciation for English communication.
The main aim of Skill-Up Conv course is that students master some basic English skills, and gain confidence to communicate in English.
In order to do so, through the lessons, students learn fundamental vocabulary, grammar points, and so on, and after that they have enough time to practice using what they learn during lessons.
It might take some time to master basic English skills; however, we try to support our students by offering lessons and self-study support.
If they take lessons regularly and do self-study in their free time, they can improve English skills a lot faster than we expect.
Through this Skill-Up Conversation course, our students learn a lot of basic English, and one of the most important tips is "to make grammatically correct sentences."
We understand that beginner English learners have difficulty making sentences because they need to think about vocabulary first.
Then, they have to make sentences.
This process sounds easy, but it's a lot more difficult than it sounds.
So, today, let's try some English training to help you make correct sentences more smoothly.
Now, let's check the 5 sentences below, and choose all the grammatically correct sentences.
1. I'm not like spicy food.
2. Do you going shopping every day?
3. I favorite alcohol is beer.
4. Is your friends working now?
5. My friends are driving a car.
Can you find all the correct sentences? (Just in case, the answer is below.)
If you can find the answers smoothly, good job!
If you can, please correct the sentences and read them aloud.

In our English lessons at English Plus, we sometimes have a chance to talk about food.

There are a lot of ways to learn English vocabulary and one of them is with "prefix."
In fact, there are a lot of prefixes, but let's learn one by one!
Today, the prefix I'd like to pick up is "quad-".
"quad-" means "four" and there are some words with "quad-", for example...

そんな時におすすめなのが、“接頭辞”で関連付けて学ぶ方法です。

接頭辞にはたくさんの種類がありますが、１つ１つ単語を増やしていきましょう！

今日は“味を表現する時に使える英語”を学んでいきたいと思います。

本日は“実際のレッスンに参加して英語を学べる体験レッスン英語学校で実施中 at English Plus”です。

English Plusの英語学校では随時、体験レッスンを実施中です。

English Plusの体験レッスンのユニークな点としましては、体験レッスンでも普通の生徒の方と同様に、通常のレッスン（９０分もしくは４５分）にお入りいただける点です。

そのため体験レッスンの方でも、実際のレッスンを受けてレッスンの仕方や雰囲気を体験できるだけでなく、レッスンを通して実際に英語を学べると思います。
