Today, I'd like to introduce a trial lesson for our new kids course.
This autumn, we're going to start a new course "Phonics + Basic English skills", which is for over 9 years old (more than elementary school grade 3), and currently we're looking for new students.
This course is good to learn some basic English skills and the contents of the lessons are good enough to try Eiken exam.
To let everyone of you get to know more about our kids lesson, we're currently offering a trial lesson.
The trial lesson is 60 minutes, and the content of the trial lesson is "Phonics."
The schedule in November is as follows:
November 21st and 28th (Every Tuesday).
The time is:
1. 16:50 - 17:50
2. 18:00 - 19:00
The time is basically fixed, but we might be able to adjust the schedule.
The maximum number of the students in each lesson is 4, so when we accept 4 students in each class, we'll stop accepting the trial students without notice.
Since we offer one of our regular 60-minute lessons, we charge 2,180 yen, which is the half price of a lesson fee.

おはようございます。東京都港区田町の英語学校English Plus英語講師のarataです。

本日は“English Plusのレッスンから学ぶ英語力向上のために語彙を増やそう ～ ビジネスの書類に関する英語（前編）”です。

English Plusのレッスン内での会話では、様々なトピックについて話す機会があります。

様々なトピックの中でも、よく話題になることの１つに「ビジネス」が挙げられます。

つい最近のEnglish Plusのレッスンの中でも会話のトピックがビジネスに関する話題になりました。

その時、ビジネスでよく使う書類に関する話題がありましたので、今日はいくつか「ビジネスの書類に関する英語」を学習をしていきたいと思います。

早速、下記の語彙を英語にしてみましょう。

2. 価格表

3. 見積書

4. 送り状・請求書

5. 契約書

今後、ビジネスの書類に関して英語を使う機会があるかもしれませんので、今からしっかりと準備しておきましょう。（答えは下記でご確認ください）

Good morning and I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
Today, let's learn an English expression from English Plus' winter vacation.
This past winter, I went on a business trip to Vancouver, Honolulu, and Toronto.
I was busy because I visited these three cities in about 10 days.
A lot of things happened during this trip, and today I'd like to write about public transportation in Toronto.
About 6 or 7 years ago, I was staying in Toronto for about a year.
This trip to visit Toronto was my first visit since then.
At that time, Toronto was the biggest city in Canada and it still is the biggest one.
I was surprised because a lot of things have changed since I was there last.
One of the surprising things was TTC, which is Toronto's public transportation system.
Now, TTC has some new street cars and new trains, which looked cool though I prefer the old ones.
Anyway, Toronto is a big city so if you visit there, using TTC is the best way.
TTC runs everywhere in Toronto so you can go anywhere with this convenient public transportation.
The price is reasonable too and TTC offers several different tickets.
One of the valuable tickets for tourists is "Day Pass."
On weekends or holidays, two adults (+ maximum 4 kids under 19 years old) can use TTC with one day pass ($11)!
Actually, I could buy this Day Pass at Toronto Pearson Airport.
So, if you want to go around Toronto soon after you arrive, Day Pass is good!
When you buy a Day Pass, you can say "I'll have a Day Pass." or "Can I have a Day Pass?" in English.
Buy one and enjoy Toronto!

Today, let's learn an English expression from English Plus' winter vacation.
This past winter, I went on a business trip to Vancouver, Honolulu, and Toronto.
I was a bit busy since I visited these three cities in about 10 days.
A lot of things happened during this trip, and today I'd like to write about public transportation in Honolulu.
Waikiki area is not so big that if we want, we can walk from one end to the other.
However, this time, I tried "The Bus" since it was my first time to visit Honolulu and I thought I could tell my experience to those who are thinking about studying in Honolulu.
I got on the bus and went to English schools and so on.
The Bus is very convenient and once you get used to it, you can go almost everywhere with The Bus.
The price is also reasonable and you can change buses within 2 hours; however, you basically need to pay in cash. (There is no change, so you must have exact cash $2.50)
Changing buses is possible but you need to get a transfer ticket on the first bus by saying "Transfer please."
If you have a chance, please try "The Bus" and go somewhere you've never been!

So today let's practice some travel English expressions that you can use when you are in a taxi.
For instance...
・When you tell where to go...

・When you want to tell the driver directions...
"Turn right at the next corner, please."
・When you want the driver to stop the car...
"Please stop here. I'll get out."
・When you want to ask the price...
"How much is the fare?"
・When the destination was different from what you asked...

When we talk about price, we can simply say "expensive" or "cheap", however, there are some other ways to talk about price.

・cheesy
When you talk about price, please try to use some!
