Good morning and thank you very much for your time to stop by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, I'd like to write about English Plus' Conversation lessons.
A couple of new staff members started working with us at the end of last year.
Since they are working hard and thanks to their support, we are able to offer some new service.
One of them is our new original "Instagram English-learning tool".
Also, our official website is easier to see, and we are starting a new English lesson "1st Step English" for beginner adult students.
In addition to these changes, we are now changing the curriculum of "Conversation lessons."
Until last year, there were "Skill-Up Conversation lessons" and "Power-Up Conversation lessons."
However, from the beginning of this year, we combined these two conversation lessons.
By combining the lessons, there are two advantages.
One is is that students can learn English more effectively with the combined curriculum.
The other is that visitors can take choose a lesson more simply, which makes them not confused to choose between Skill-Up Conv and Power-Up Conv lessons.
English Plus provides several English lessons in addition to "Conversation lessons."

Today, I'd like to write about English Plus' Official website.
A couple of new staff members started working with us since the end of last year.
Thanks to their support, the contents of English Plus' SNS service, especially Instagram, are getting better.
Also, since the beginning of this year, we began our brand new lesson "1st Step English", which is good for very beginners.
A lot of changes are happening around English Plus, so we've decided to change our official website design too.
Currently, we are working on renewing our official website, and our aim this time is more user-friendly.
It's still in the middle of renewal, but when you have time, please visit English Plus Official Website.

Good morning and thank you very much for your time to stop by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Tomorrow is the New Year's eve, and I'd like to look back on this year as an English instructor at English Plus.
A lot of things have happened here at English Plus in 2020.
Especially, the impact of COVID-19 pandemic was very big not only here at English Plus but also everywhere around the world.
Despite the impact of COVID-19, I'd like to write about some of the events we've had at English Plus this year. For instance:
・Since COVID-19 is a major problem, English Plus has set some rules and measures against the virus
・STEP-UP English lesson for Junior high school students began in March
・New staff members have joined English Plus
・We're now preparing for 1st Step English for adults with new staff members
・New Activity "Self-Study Club" started this year
・Instead of Christmas Party, we held 2-week "Christmas Week"
・Zoom online school information session is now available
・English Plus' SNS service, such as Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Blog, and YouTube, is now available almost every business day
・Business English course is now available
From my point of view as an English instructor, in spite of the state of emergency in April and May, most of our students' English skills have improved continuously this year too! (Great work!)
We really thank every one of English Plus' students, supporters, staff members, friends, and family.
Although the COVID-19 is still spreading around us, we were able to make this year too. (Again, I appreciate every one of you.)
We'll keep making efforts to provide better English lessons, support, and service at English Plus next year too.

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, I'd like to introduce one of our latest lesson programs "1st Step English" and our new staff members at English Plus.
Since we opened English Plus in 2011, we have prepared and provided a lot of lessons for our students.
Most of the lessons are group lessons for adults and kids, which consist of max 4 students in a class.
The lessons for adults (90 min) are such as, "Skill-Up Conversation course", "TOEIC exam preparation lesson course", "Business English course", and so on.
For kids (60 min), there are "Phonics and Basic English skills for elementary school students course", and "Junior High School English course."
In addition to group lessons, we have "Private lesson course" (45 min), and English lessons for legal entity (corporation).
Now that we have new staff members, we will be able to provide a brand-new course for beginners from next year.
The name of the course is "1st Step English."
This course is good for beginner adult learners, especially for those who are interested in learning English but afraid to learn English.
The aim of this course is to get used to English.
Through this course, the students can learn some daily English vocabulary and expressions, such as daily action, housework, and so on.
We're currently making a promotional video on YouTube, and planning to upload it within this year.
If you see the video, you'll realize that the teacher in charge of this course is "Natsuko", who is our new assistant teacher.
Also, we have another new staff "Miyuki".

Today, I'd like to write about one of our latest lesson programs at English Plus.
Since we began English Plus in 2011, we have prepared and provided a lot of lessons for our students.
Most of the lessons are group lessons for adults and kids, which consist of max 4 students in a class.
The lessons for adults (90 min) are such as, "Skill-Up Conversation course", "TOEIC exam preparation lesson course", "Business English course", and so on.

One advantage of this new course is they can learn English not only at a desk but also by moving their bodies to master basic daily English.
Through the lessons, the students learn some daily English, such as daily action, housework, and so on.

Good morning and thanks a lot for your visit to English Plus blog!
Tomorrow is the New Year's eve, and I'd like to look back on this year as an English instructor at English Plus.
A lot of things have happened here at English Plus in 2017.
For instance...
・English Plus moved its place in August.
・A couple of new staff members joined English Plus, which makes English Plus more cheerful place.
・All of our staff started to wear English Plus original shirts (uniform).
・We began kids lesson for elementary school students.
・We have "self-service drink space" for our students.
・The students, who pay tuition fee monthly, can pay by credit card.
・"Skill-Up Conversation" course is now the total of 6 levels.
・More and more of our students try the TOEIC test regularly.
From my point of view as an English instructor, our students' English skills have improved continuously since we can see their progress with their TOEIC score too! (Great work!)
We were able to finish this year too, and we thank every one of English Plus' students, supporters, staff members, friends, and family .
This year has become another excellent one.
We'll keep making efforts to provide better English lessons, support, and service at English Plus next year too.
