We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, let's practice English from English Plus' lessons.
At English Plus, we encourage our students to try to speak English a lot especially during lessons.
Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through the lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.
Now, let's find errors from our lessons during the first week of January in 2023 below.

1. We’re thinking about go to Sydney next month.
2. I have too much works.
3. What movie do you see tomorrow?

Let's improve English skills little by little!

Today, let's practice some English phrases for English only week at English Plus.
At English Plus, we hold "English Only Week" every once a month.
During this week, all of our students must speak only English during lessons.
The next term is from next Tuesday to Saturday, January 24th - January 28th.
If they speak Japanese, there is a penalty waiting for them.
So, today I'd like to introduce some English phrases that might be useful during English Only Week.
For instance...

・質問してもいいですか？ ＝ Can I ask you a question?
・ちょっと待って ＝ Just a moment.

Let's try only English next week!

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today I'd like to write about English Plus' information session in January 2023.
English Plus frequently holds school information sessions.
In the session, we tell you about the lesson contents, lesson schedule, our instructors, and so on.
Also, if you have any questions about our lessons, you can have time to ask us directly.
This month, English Plus' info session's schedule is as follows.

【English Plus school info session in January 2023】
・Every Tuesday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Wednesday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Thursday: between 10:00 and 19:30
・Every Friday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Saturday: between 10:00 and 16:00

During our information session, we won't persuade you to enroll in our school, so please do not worry.
We basically hold info sessions during this time; however, because of some unexpected events, we might cancel them.
If you are interested in joining one of our information sessions above, please reserve your spot through online or phone call.
There are two info sessions available - Face-to-face info session at English Plus OR Zoom online info session.
If you would like to reserve your spot through online, please check out School info session.

Happy New Year!
I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog at the very beginning of this year!
English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


As the first day of 2023, let's try to make a new year's resolution (Shinen-no-Hohu)!
During our first lesson at English Plus, we usually ask our students what their new year's resolutions are this year.
Usually, they say "trying to lose weight", "quit smoking", "getting a higher score in the TOEIC test", "being a better English speaker", and so on.
Like our students, some of you might make a new year's resolution every year.
Personally, I think making a new year's resolution is a great idea, and a person who actually tries to accomplish it is wonderful.
Continuing something is hard, but it's worth trying, so let's decide one for this year and challenge it.
As an English teacher at English Plus, my new year's resolution this year is to "Make good lessons and curriculum for our students", "Keep supporting our students to improve their English skills", and "Organize some fun activities."
In order to accomplish them, our staff and I are going to make efforts this year too.
If you haven't made this year's new year's resolution yet, why don't you make one by yourself? (How about learning English?)
When you decide one, please try and stick to it.

Good morning, and thank you so much for stopping by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Tomorrow is the New Year's eve, and I'd like to look back on this year as an English instructor at English Plus.
A lot of things have happened here at English Plus in 2022.
The impact of COVID-19 pandemic was still remaining this year so we couldn't hold many activities and events, such as annual Christmas party.
However, we were able to finish our business safely this year thanks to a lot of people's support, and I'd like to write about what we've done at English Plus.
For instance:
・We were able to celebrate 11th year anniversary on Oct 1st
・We started a new service for Day care (Nursery School) and Kindergarten
・We will be on TV tomorrow, Dec 31 2022
・Some English Plus original items have been added, such as original bag and stationery goods
・Instead of Christmas Party, we held a month long "Christmas Month" event
・Zoom online lesson for our current students is available
・Zoon school information session is also available
・Some junior high school students passed Eiken Grade Pre2 & Grade3
From my point of view as an English instructor, most of our students' English skills have improved continuously this year too! (Great job!)
We really thank every one of English Plus' students, supporters, staff members, friends, and family.
We'll keep making efforts to provide better English lessons, support, and service at English Plus next year too.

おはようございます。東京都港区田町の英語学校English Plus英語講師のarataです。

English Plusでは、小学生から大人まで『使える基礎英語力』をしっかり・楽しく・着実に身につける「実用的な英語レッスン」を提供しています。

しっかり・楽しく・着実に基礎英語力を身につけるためにEnglish Plusでは「４名までの完全少人数制」「９０分レッスン（キッズ６０分レッスン）」「レッスン内での英語の間違い・質問大歓迎！」「初心者でも安心して受講できる」環境を整えており、また「自己学習サポート」を提供しています。


本日のブログは“English Plus (英語学校・留学サポート) ２０２２年の営業終了のお知らせ（日本語編）”です。

今年は３日前となるクリスマスイブの１２月２４日がEnglish Plusの２０２２年営業最終日でした。

２０１１年にEnglish Plusをオープンして以来、今年１０月１日に１１周年を迎えることができました。

今年は昨年および一昨年に引き続き新型コロナウイルスの影響もありましたが、一年無事に営業を終えることができたのも、レッスン受講生の皆様、いつも一所懸命に働いてくれているスタッフの皆様、友人、家族、親戚の皆様、陰ながら支えてくれている皆様のお陰だと感謝しております。

いつもありがとうございます。

来年もEnglish Plusでは「もっと楽しく、一人一人の英語力向上に向き合った楽しいレッスンや自己学習サポートの提供」を引き続き行うと共に、留学サポートも充実させていたきたいと思っております。

来年も引き続きEnglish Plusをどうぞよろしくお願い申し上げます。

The day before yesterday was the last business day for English Plus in 2022.
Since we started English Plus in October 2011, thanks to a lot of people's support, we were able to celebrate English Plus' 11th anniversary this October.
We really appreciate those who always support and help us, especially, our students, staff members, family, and relatives.
I really feel this year was almost over in the blink of an eye.
Again, we just want to say "Thank YOU very much" for all those who have connection with English Plus this year.
We hope everyone has "Happy holidays", and hope to see you next year.

Today, I'd like to announce English Plus' year-end holiday schedule.
There are only about three weeks left in 2022, which means Christmas & New Year's Day are just around the corner.
In our lessons at this time of a year, we often ask this question "What's your plan this year-end holiday?", and some of our students usually answer that they are planning to go back to their hometown, travel, relax at home, and so on.
However, this year like last year or the year before last, most of our students are planning to stay at home.
Speaking of winter holiday, I'd like to announce English Plus' year-end holiday schedule this year.
English Plus is going to be closed from December 25th to January 9th.
During this time, both English school, and study abroad support service are not available.
From 10:00 am on January 10th (Tuesday) 2023, English Plus school is going back to the regular schedule.
If you have any questions about English Plus, please ask us by e-mail during this holiday. (It might take some time to reply, but we'll reply as early as possible.)
