In our daily business, we make and use a lot of documents.
I guess you can name some of them.
There are a lot of business documents, but some of them may not be so familiar in English for Japanese business people, so today let's learn some documents in English; for instance...

・company brochure = 会社案内
・price list = 価格表
・information packet = 資料集
・order form = 注文書

If you have need to use one of them above, try to think it in English.

Today, I'd like to write about English Plus' latest promotional movie.
At English Plus' English school, we are frequently asked some questions about our lessons, service, and so on.
One of the most frequently asked questions is "What is English Plus' lesson like?"
There are a lot of differences between our English school and other schools; for instance, we offer 90-min lessons, max 4 students in a class, and so on.
As we explain orally when visitors ask us or in our brochure, it's often difficult to show them what our lesson is like; therefore, this time, we've made a new promotional movie and uploaded on YouTube.
In our latest movie, we're introducing our new lesson called "1st STEP English" starting in 2021.
Our new assistant instructor "Natsuko-sensei" is mainly in charge of this lesson, and introducing this lesson in the movie.
In the movie, she is demonstrating the lesson and explaining it.

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today I'd like to write about English Plus' study abroad support.
At English Plus, in addition to English school, we have study abroad support service.
Currently, we recommend some ESL schools in Canada, such as in Vancouver, Toronto, Whistler, Calgary, PEI, and so on.
We can recommend these schools because we've visited almost all of them and talked with their school owners, managers, or Japanese counselors.
We've checked the schools, their neighborhoods, teachers, staff and so on.
The schools we can recommend are located in safe area, and the schools' atmosphere is very friendly.
Needless to say, each school is serious about helping students to improve their students' English skills.
Here are the schools we currently recommend at English Plus:
・VGC (in Vancouver)
・GC (in Vancouver)
・Tamwood (in Vancouver, Whistler, Toronto)
・SGIC (in Vancouver, Toronto)
・CES (in Toronto)
・Study Abroad Canada (in PEI)
・ECLC (in Halifax)
The length of studying depends on a school, so you can study for a short or long period of time. (Minimum 1 week)
We really hope that the students, who use our service, will enjoy studying English.
Currently, we are promoting "study abroad in summer."
Some schools offer "summer program" for kids.
In almost all of the cities across Canada, you can enjoy summer time!
You can use your summer vacation, and enjoy learning English in Canada.

本日は“English Plusのレッスンから学ぶ英語力向上のために語彙を増やそう ～ ビジネスの書類に関する英語（前編）”です。

English Plusのレッスン内での会話では、様々なトピックについて話す機会があります。

様々なトピックの中でも、よく話題になることの１つに「ビジネス」が挙げられます。

つい最近のEnglish Plusのレッスンの中でも会話のトピックがビジネスに関する話題になりました。

その時、ビジネスでよく使う書類に関する話題がありましたので、今日はいくつか「ビジネスの書類に関する英語」を学習をしていきたいと思います。

早速、下記の語彙を英語にしてみましょう。

Thank you for your time to check out this blog!
Today, I'd like to write about a brochure for my English school.
This past Monday, about 1500 brochures for my English school arrived!!
Even though there is some important information missing or are some mistakes in the brochure, which I didn't realize before I submitted to the printing company, the brochure looks great!
When you have a chance, please get one since there are only 1500!
From now on, I have to think about how to use this brochure and 3500 flyers, which previously arrived effectively!!

本日は“英語学校English Plusのパンフレット到着”です。

今週の月曜日、９月末に頼んでおいたEnglish Plusのパンフレット１５００部が到着しました！

急いで仕上げたこともあり印刷会社に頼んだ後に、いろいろなミスを発見をしてしまったのの・・・出来上がったパンフレットは、なかなか良い仕上がりだと思います。

初回のパンフレットは１５００部限定なので、チャンスがあればお手にとってみてください。
（直接、田町のEnglish Plusにお越しいただくか、近いうちに、都内のジュンク堂書店さんで入手できるはず、です）

今から、以前に届いた３５００部のフライヤーとこのパンフレットをどう使っていくか考えて、即行動に移していきたいと思います！！

Today, I'd like to write about what I did for my English school to get started yesterday.
Yesterday morning after I completed the flyer and brochure, I visited a printing company for the first time.
I had never visited a printing company until yesterday so I didn't know what to do.
However, the staff was very friendly and I was able to order some printings, such as...
・Total 4000 flyers to hand out
・About 1000 pamphlets
One surprising fact is that the cost of printing these was not as expensive at all as I print them by myself.
As soon as they get here, I'll start handing out flyers!

本日は“英語学校オープンをお知らせするチラシの印刷”です。

昨日の朝ようやく、英語学校オープンをお知らせするチラシ＆パンフレットが完成しましたが、その後、印刷会社さんへ大急ぎで行ってきました。

大急ぎと行っても、昨日印刷屋さんを訪れるまで行ったことがなかったため、何をどうやってオーダーするのかわかりませんでしたが、訪れた印刷屋さんのスタッフの方に親切に教えてもらい、無事注文をすることができました。

昨日注文したものは・・・
・チラシを計４０００部
・パンフレットを約１０００部
でした。

注文をした後に驚いたことは、これだけ注文しても自分のプリンターで印刷するよりもはるかに値段が安かったことです。

注文した印刷物が届き次第、順に配布していきたいと思います！！

Today, I'd like to write about what I did for my English school yesterday.
This morning, I finally completed a flyer and a brochure for my English school.
It took longer than I first anticipated so today I guess I have to go to a printing company and get these printed out a.s.a.p.
Hopefully, I can get those done by the time my English school starts.
One more big thing I have to take care of is my English school website.
I'll try to work on it and update it a.s.a.p.!!

今朝、遂に英語学校オープンをお知らせするチラシ＆パンフレットが完成しました！

最初に予想していた完成日時よりも遅くなってしまったため、今日中にでも印刷会社へ行き、プリントしてもらう必要がありそうですが何とかオープンまでに間に合ってくれることを願います。

もう一つ大きな仕事としては、ホームページの仕上げが残っているので、こちらもできるだけ早く完成させて、アップさせようと思います！

Yesterday, I took a business consultation in Kawasaki and the consultant was a medium and small corporate business consultant, Mr. Koji Takeuchi.

Mainly, the advice I asked him for was about the ideas for my English school brochure, flier, homepage and blog.
Thanks to Mr. Koji Takeuchi’s consulting, I was able to get some new ideas for my English school.
I will fully use the ideas I got yesterday!

Hi, this is Arata.
Today, I'm writing my blog in English first! (and Japanese below)
So, some people may get confused...but, I hope you enjoy reading it!!
Yesterday, I went to a tradeshow in Ikebukuro to check some stuff to promote sales, such as novelties, brochures, (school) signs, and so on.
The trade show was called "International premium incentive show", which was held from Oct 20th to Oct 22nd.
I had never attended one like that, so it was very interesting and informative to me!!
In there, I was able to get a lot of interesting ideas!
I also learned an important lesson that "Action (=going out) is really important when wanting to do business!"
So, I will act today too in order to reach my dream!!

本日はいろいろな方のアドバイスを参考にし、英語を先、日本語を後のパターンにしてみました。
なので今回、少し違和感を感じる方もいらっしゃるかもしれませんが、最初は英語版に挑戦していただき、その後、日本語版でチェックしていただけますと、少し違う読み方ができて面白いと思います。

さて、本日は“英語学校設立へのステップ”です。

昨日、レッスンの合間に池袋において開催されていた“インターナショナル プレミアム・インセンティブショー”（１０月２０日～２２日）を見学してきました。

このショーでは販売促進に役立つ様々なグッズ（ノベルティ・パンフレット・看板など）を見ることができました。

販促グッズの見本市は以前、一度も行ったことがなかったので、とても貴重な経験ができると同時に、自分の英語学校設立のためのアイディアを得ることができました。

何より、一番大きな収穫は“起業には行動が必要”ということを再認識できたことは、とても有意義でした。

本日もしっかりと起業へ一歩前進します！！
