Good morning and thank you very much for your time to stop by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today I'd like to introduce trial lessons at our English school.
At English Plus, we're currently accepting trial students this month too.
One feature of our trial lesson is that trial students can take one of our regular group lessons.
It means trial students can join a lesson with our regular students and can feel our school atmosphere directly.
Also, trial students can learn and practice English a lot through the lesson.
As of this month, November 2022, these trial lessons are available:

【For High school students and Adults】
・Conversation lesson (90-min lesson from Tue to Sat & we recommend this lesson for those who would like to learn from basic English and get confidence)
・TOEIC test preparation lesson (90-min lesson on Sat & we strongly recommend this lesson for those who need to improve TOEIC score and business English)


【For Kids - Elementary school and Junior high school students】
・Kids English lesson for elementary school students (60-min lesson on Wed & in this lesson, our students can learn some Phonics and basic English skills)
・STEP-UP English lesson for Junior High School students (60-min lesson on Tue, Thu, and Fri & this is for junior high school students who want to learn basic English skills for practice usage)

English lessons for Private lessons, and Legal entity (corporation) are also available.
You can reserve one of English Plus' trial lessons from English Plus' trial lessons page.

Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through the lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.
Now, let's find errors from our lessons during the fourth week of last November below.

1. When I listen to music, I’m relaxing.

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.

Today, let's practice some English phrases for English only week at English Plus.
At English Plus, we hold "English Only Week" every once a month.
During this week, all of our students must speak only English during lessons.
The next term is from next Tuesday to Saturday, November 23rd - November 27th.
Even though Nov 23rd is a national holiday, we're open as usual.
If they speak Japanese, there is a penalty waiting for them.
So, today I'd like to introduce some English phrases that might be useful during English Only Week.
For instance...

・言おうとしていたことを忘れました ＝ It slipped my mind.
・ここまで出かかっているんだけど ＝ It's on the tip of my tongue.

Let's try only English next week!

English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today I'd like to write about English Plus' information session in November 2021.
English Plus frequently holds school information sessions.
In the session, we tell you about the lesson contents, lesson schedule, our instructors, and so on.
Also, if you have any questions about our lessons, you can have time to ask us directly.
This month, English Plus' info session's schedule is as follows.

・Every Tuesday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Wednesday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Thursday: between 10:00 and 19:30
・Every Friday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Saturday: between 10:00 and 16:00

During our information session, we don't persuade you to enroll in our school, so please do not worry.
We basically hold info sessions during this time; however, because of some unexpected events, we might cancel them.
If you are interested in joining one of our information sessions, please let us know by e-mail or phone call.
Also, Zoom online info session is now available.

Today, I'd like to announce English Plus' schedule change tomorrow, Nov 3rd, 2021.
Tomorrow, November 3rd is "Culture Day", which is a national holiday in Japan.
Since it is a national holiday tomorrow, English Plus is going to change the business hours from 10:00 to 13:00.
From tomorrow, Nov 4th, we're open as usual from 10:00 to 19:30.
