Today, I'd like to write about one of the benefits of small class size.
At English Plus, the number of students in each class is between one and four.
Actually, there are a variety of class sizes such as "one-to-one (private) class", "small number (about 4~5 students) class", "medium number (about 5~10 students) class" and "big number (about 10~25 students) class."
Each class size has its advantages and disadvantages, but the reason we have a small class size (1~4 students) is, in my opinion, "small number class" is the most effective class size to learn basic English skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing) and practice communicative English.
From instructor's view, one of small number class lessons' benefits is...
"a teacher can check each student's strength and weakness and give proper advice."
Through lessons, a teacher can see each student's strength and weakness in their English and the teacher can give proper advice for each student.
Also, the teacher can recommend a good self-study plan for each student.

本日は“英語講師が考える少人数制のグループレッスンのよさ ～ その３．個々の強み・弱みの把握＆講師のアドバイス”です。
English Plusの英語学校の１クラスの人数は１～４名となっています。
English Plusではこの少人数制のクラスを採用していますが、今まで英語講師としてレッスンを経験したクラスのサイズ（人数）としましては、“マンツーマンレッスン”、“４～５人の少人数制レッスン”、“５名～１０名前後のグループレッスン”、“１クラス１０名～２５名のグループレッスン”があります。
クラスのサイズによって教え方は変わり、どのサイズのクラスにもそれぞれ良い点・悪い点があります。
各クラスに良い点・悪い点はありますが、English Plusでは生徒の方の英語力アップのために“少人数制（１名～最大４名）のクラス”を採用しています。
主な理由は“英語力（リスニング・スピーキング・リーディング・ライティング・語彙・文法・発音・基本的な挨拶）を効率よくアップできる”という点と、“英語コミュニケーション力を伸ばすためのトレーニング（聞く・話すトレーニング）に一番効果的”だと英語講師の経験を通しておすすめできるからです。
もう少し具体的に、英語講師からの視点で“少人数制のクラスの良さ”を見てみますと…
“講師は各生徒の英語の強み・弱みを把握しやすく、適切なアドバイスをすることができる”メリットがあります。
少人数制のレッスンは講師の目が行き届く人数なので、レッスンを通して各生徒の英語の強み・弱みを把握することが可能です。
また、少人数制のレッスンを通して、講師は各生徒の英語の強みを伸ばし、弱みを克服していくためのアドバイスをすることも可能です。
アドバイスをする上で、講師は個々の目標や学びのスタイルに沿った自己学習の計画を作ることも可能です。
