[論説文の讀み方]
大方の論説文はパラグラフ(段落)を積み重ねる構成になつてをり、「１パラグラフ１主題」の原則が看て取れます。各パラグラフにはその主題を記した topic sentence があり、先頭に置かれることがあります（さうでないこともあります）。

讀みながら、パラグラフの主題・要點（main idea / main point）と思はれる内容を極く簡單な日本語でパラグラフ右にメモしておくと設問に取り組む時間を節約できます。
