環境容量と環境負債
環境容量は、地球環境が温暖化ガスの排出等を許容し、元の状態に戻せる上限の値の事である。現在の地球においては、温暖化ガスについては、許容値を超えており、しかも、どんな手段を講じても元に戻すことができないレベルに進んでいるという。
つまり、環境負債が発生しており、その負債を返すどころか、利子の返済も出来ない状態だと言うことである。
環境負債を返却し、安心して住める社会を構築できるのは政治家ではなくて、一般大衆の強い思いの集合であるに違いない。
Environmental capacity and environmental debt
The environmental capacity is the upper limit at which the earth allows the discharge of greenhouse gases, etc., and can be restored to its original state. It is said that the present earth has exceeded the permissible limit for greenhouse gases, and has progressed to a level that cannot be reversed by any means.
In other words, they have incurred environmental debt, and they are unable to repay the interest, let alone repay the debt.
It is not the politicians who can repay the environmental debt and build a society where people can live with peace of mind, but it must be the strong will of the general public.
