In early typewriters in the 1860s, the typebars would often jam when two or more keys were depressed simultaneously (see picture). Such jamming led to the creation of the QWERTY keyboard in 1873.[1] Mechanisms to avoid such jamming had been created by 1879, but the keyboard layout remained as the legacy of the early problem.[1]

The picture on the typebar's page now is of frontstrike's　and is "yarase"picture , and Japanese"yarase" means "prearranged performances".
According to the typebar Pedia text explanation , the picture should show the jamming typebars of prototype-machine era, which means the type-writing machine should have the mechanism with up-strike typebars.

Both staged fake "yarase" and front-strike's are not accurate to view on the page as explaned.

Please put on picture of upstrike's jammed typebars, if exists
Take a picture of the jam event during actual operation

And to say

, you should say the layout regulation between keys and bars .

I think the evidesce should be in　the letters on the footnote22 Current1949. And footnote26....
