屋上庭園

中区栄にある電気の科学館の屋上には庭園があります。お昼にはお弁当を食べに来る人たちもいます。私は今まで屋上庭園の存在を知りませんでした。

5日～10日まで、ワキタギャラリーで写真展があります。期間が短いですがどこかで見に行こうと思います。

今日の一語⑤：roof garden（屋上庭園）

My hometown

My hometown is in Wakayama Pref.
I was born there and lived there until I was in Kindergarden.
It is a very beautiful place to live, because there're some oranges and plums mountains and the Sea is neaby, too.
It is famouse for japanese plums called Umeboshi. One kind of Umeboshi is called
"Nankobai" It's a little bit expensive. One Nankobai is 500yen.

The best way to get there by train is to take the Shinkansen(bullet train) to Osaka, after that change the train to the domestic train.
My relatives still live there, so I enjoy visiting their homes during New Year.

訳：私の故郷は和歌山県で、幼稚園の時までそこにいました。
　　とてもすばらしい所で、みかんや梅の山々があり、海も近いです。
　　梅干しで有名です。梅干しの一種で「南高梅」があります。ちょっとお値段は高くて
　　1個500円もします。
　　和歌山へ行くには新幹線で大阪まで行き、在来線に乗り換えます。
　　私の親戚はまだ、そちらに住んでいてお正月に行くのが楽しみです。
