バスをおりて家までの道を歩いてたら、おじさんにレモンは好きかと聞かれた。「好きです」とこたえると庭の木になってるレモンをもいで１１個もくれた。なくなったらまたおいでと。
家に帰ってこの話をすると、いい友達ができたねとママのほうが喜んで、このレモンと鉢で育ててるミントでレモネードをつくってくれた、砂糖をいれなくても十分おいしい。この日の夕食もこのレモンを使ったパスタだった。

When got off a bus and was walking the way home, I was asked by an old man whether I like lemon. I answered “yes”, then he picked off some lemons from the three of his garden and gave me 11. And he added “come again when ate up them.” Returning home I talked about it to my host mom. She also got happy and made lemonade with the mint which she brought up in a flowerpot. The dinner was also pasta which used this lemon for.
