Good morning and I really appreciate your visit to English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, I'd like to announce "English Plus' twelfth year anniversary".
English Plus opened its door in Shibaura, Tamachi, Tokyo 12 years ago, October 1st, 2011.
Thanks to a lot of people's support, English Plus will be able to turn twelve years old tomorrow.
We really appreciate every one of you, who supports us from the bottom of our heart.
Our special thanks are especially for our students, friends, family, staff members, and some of you who support us.
Thanks to each and every one one of you.
Looking back about these twelve years, a lot of words have come to my mind.
One word can't describe these twelve years: however, the first word which came to mind this year was "gratitude."
A lot of things have happened these 12 years, and especially these recent years because of COVID-19 pandemic; however, we've been able to continue our business especially thanks to every one of our students.
Thank you very much.
Words are not enough to express how we appreciate each of you, so instead of words of appreciation, we'll continue offering better and more practical English lessons and helpful support as well as more fun activities, and friendly environment to study English here at English Plus.
We really thank every one of you, especially our students & customers, and we'll make efforts from now on too.

Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through the lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.
Now, let's find errors from our lessons during the first week of January in 2023 below.

1. We’re thinking about go to Sydney next month.
2. I have too much works.
3. What movie do you see tomorrow?

Today, I'd like to announce English Plus' schedule change tomorrow, Feb 23rd 2023.
Tomorrow, Feb 23rd is "Emperor's Birthday", which is a national holiday in Japan.
Since it is a national holiday, English Plus is going to change the business hours from 16:00 to 19:00.
From the day after tomorrow, Feb 24th, we're going back to the regular schedule. (Tue-Fri: 10:00-19:30 / Sat: 10:00-16:00)

おはようございます。東京都港区田町の英語学校English Plus英語講師のarataです。

English Plusでは、小学生から大人まで【使える基礎英語力】をしっかり・楽しく・着実に身につける【実用的な英語レッスン】を提供しています。

しっかり・楽しく・着実に基礎英語力を身につけるためにEnglish Plusでは「４名までの完全少人数制」「９０分レッスン（キッズ６０分レッスン）」「レッスン内での英語の間違い・質問大歓迎！」「初心者でも安心して受講できる」環境を整えており、また「自己学習サポート」を提供しています。


本日のブログは“自分に合った英語学校が選べない…実際のレッスンを体験できる２０２３年１月のEnglish Plus体験レッスンのお知らせ（日本語編）”です。

English Plus（英語学校）では今年初となる１月の体験レッスンを１月１０日（火）より実施予定です。

English Plusの体験レッスンの特徴は、体験レッスン受講生の方も通常行っているレッスン（高校生以上の大人のグループレッスン９０分もしくは小学生・中学生のグループレッスン６０分）にお入りいただける点です。

実際のレッスンを体験いただくことで、通常のレッスン受講生同様にクラスや学校の雰囲気を体験できるだけでなく、レッスンを通して実際に使える英語を学んで、英語コミュニケーションのためのトレーニングしていただくことが可能です。

２０２３年１月現在、English Plusでは下記のレッスンを実施予定です。

【高校生以上の大人向け４名までのグループレッスン】

・Conversation（英会話）レッスン（９０分・４名までの少人数制グループレッスン・毎日）・・・語彙・文法・リスニング等、コミュニケーションの土台となる基礎力を身につけると同時に、様々なトピックについて話せる英語力を育てていきます。（中学校英語レベルからしっかりと基礎を学べるレベルのご用意もあります）

・TOEIC（TOEICテスト対策）レッスン（９０分・４名までの少人数制グループレッスン・土曜日）・・・TOEICテストにおけるスコアアップを目標に、仕事等でも使える英語力をつけていきたい方におすすめです。

【小学生・中学生向け４名までのグループレッスン】

・Kids English（小学生向けフォニックス＋基礎英語）レッスン（６０分・４名までの少人数制グループレッスン・水曜日）・・・小学３年生以上を対象にPhonics（フォニックスとは発音と文字のパターンを学び、英語の読み方を習得する学習方法のことです。Phonicsを習得することで「英単語の識字、読解力の向上、スピーキング力、リスニング力、リーディング力の向上につながります）や基礎的な英語力を身につけていきます。

・STEP-UP English（中学生用基礎英会話）コース（６０分・４名までの少人数制グループレッスン・火曜日、木曜日、金曜日）…中学生対象の語彙・文法・発音を中心に学びながら、英語コミュニケーションのための「聞く・話す・読む・書く」能力を伸ばしていくコースです。

その他にも１対１のプライベートレッスン（小学生～大人向け）や法人レッスン（出張レッスン可）のご用意もございます。

Good morning, and thank you so much for stopping by English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Tomorrow is the New Year's eve, and I'd like to look back on this year as an English instructor at English Plus.
A lot of things have happened here at English Plus in 2022.
The impact of COVID-19 pandemic was still remaining this year so we couldn't hold many activities and events, such as annual Christmas party.
However, we were able to finish our business safely this year thanks to a lot of people's support, and I'd like to write about what we've done at English Plus.
For instance:
・We were able to celebrate 11th year anniversary on Oct 1st
・We started a new service for Day care (Nursery School) and Kindergarten
・We will be on TV tomorrow, Dec 31 2022
・Some English Plus original items have been added, such as original bag and stationery goods
・Instead of Christmas Party, we held a month long "Christmas Month" event
・Zoom online lesson for our current students is available
・Zoon school information session is also available
・Some junior high school students passed Eiken Grade Pre2 & Grade3
From my point of view as an English instructor, most of our students' English skills have improved continuously this year too! (Great job!)
We really thank every one of English Plus' students, supporters, staff members, friends, and family.
We'll keep making efforts to provide better English lessons, support, and service at English Plus next year too.

Merry Christmas eve and thank you for visiting English Plus blog!
English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.

Today, let's learn some English vocabulary about Christmas.
Tomorrow, December 25th, is Christmas.
Christmas is celebrated not only in western countries but in Japan too.
A lot of children and adults are looking forward to this day, and some of our kids students can't wait for this day to come.
During this Christmas season at English Plus, we decorated the inside of our facility with Christmas ornaments.
Since Christmas is tomorrow, let's learn some English vocabulary related to Christmas.
For example...

・クリスマスの装飾 = Christmas ornament
・クリスマスのリース = Christmas wreath
・クリスマスの木 = Christmas tree
・煙突 ＝ chimney
・暖炉 = fireplace
・教会 = church
・ろうそく = candle

When you have a chance to see one of the objects above, try to say it in English in your mind.
Let's learn and improve English every day.
