We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, let's practice some English phrases for English only week at English Plus.
At English Plus, we hold "English Only Week" every once a month.
During this week, all of our students must speak only English during lessons.
The next term is from next Tuesday to Saturday, July 30th - August 3rd, which is just before summer vacation.
If they speak Japanese, there is a small penalty waiting for them.
So, today I'd like to introduce some English phrases that might be useful during English Only Week.
For instance...

・ちょっと考えさせてください ＝ Let me think.
・この単語の意味は何ですか？ ＝ What does this word mean?

Let's try only English next week!

Today I'd like to write about English Plus' information session in July 2024.
English Plus frequently holds school information sessions.
In the session, we tell you about the lesson contents, lesson schedule, our instructors, and so on.
Also, if you have any questions about our lessons, you can have time to ask us directly.
This month before summer holiday, English Plus' info session's schedule is as follows.

【English Plus school info session in July 2024】
・Every Tuesday: between 13:00 and 19:00
・Every Wednesday: between 13:00 and 19:30
・Every Thursday: between 10:00 and 19:00
・Every Friday: between 13:00 and 19:00
・Every Saturday: between 10:00 and 16:00

During our information session, we won't persuade you to enroll in our school, so please do not worry.
We basically hold info sessions during this time; however, because of some unexpected events, we might cancel them.
If you are interested in joining one of our information sessions above, please reserve your spot through online or phone call.
There are two info sessions available - Face-to-face info session at English Plus OR Zoom online info session.
If you would like to reserve your spot through online, please check out School info session.

English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today I'd like to introduce trial lessons at our English school.
At English Plus, we're currently accepting trial students in July 2024.
One feature of our trial lesson is that trial students can take one of our regular group lessons.
It means trial students can join a lesson with our regular students and can feel our school atmosphere directly.
Also, trial students can learn and practice English a lot through the lesson.
As of July 2024, these trial lessons are available:

【Trial English lessons for High school students and Adults】
・Conversation lesson (90-min lesson every day between Tue and Sat & we recommend this lesson for those who would like to learn from basic English and get confidence)
・TOEIC test preparation lesson (90-min lesson on Sat & we strongly recommend this lesson for those who need to improve TOEIC score and business English)

【Trial English lessons for Kids - Elementary school and Junior high school students】
・Kids English lesson for elementary school students (60-min lesson on Wed & in this lesson, our students can learn some Phonics and basic English skills)
・STEP-UP English lesson for Junior High School students (60-min lesson on Wed and Fri & this is for junior high school students who want to learn basic English skills for practice usage)

English lessons for Private lessons, Semi-Private lessons, and Legal entity (corporation) are also available.
You can reserve one of English Plus' trial lessons from English Plus' trial lessons page.

Today I'd like to write about English Plus' information session in July 2023.
English Plus frequently holds school information sessions.

As of July 2023 in summer time, English Plus' info session's schedule is as follows.

【English Plus school info session in July 2023】

Today I'd like to introduce trial lessons at our English school.
At English Plus, we're currently accepting trial students in July 2023.

As the begging of summer, July 2023, these trial lessons are available:

【For High school students and Adults】

English Plus is a small language school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.


Today, I'd like to write about English Plus' study abroad support.
At English Plus, we have "English School" and "Study Abroad Support Service."
Currently, we recommend some ESL schools in Canadian cities, such as in Vancouver, Toronto, Whistler, Calgary, PEI, and so on.
We can recommend the schools below because either we've visited and checked them directly or talked with their school owners, managers, or Japanese counselors.
When we personally visited the schools, we checked their neighborhoods, teachers, staff, environment, and so on.
The schools we can recommend are located in safe area, and the schools' atmosphere is very friendly.
Needless to say, each school is serious about helping students to improve their students' English skills.
Here are the schools we currently recommend at English Plus:
・VGC (in Vancouver)
・GC (in Vancouver)
・Tamwood (in Vancouver, Whistler, Toronto)
・SGIC (in Vancouver, Toronto)
・CES (in Toronto)
・Study Abroad Canada (in PEI)
・ECLC (in Halifax)
The length of studying depends on a school, so you can study for a short or long period of time. (Minimum 1 week)
It depends on a season, but some of the schools offer "Teen summer programs."
This program is for mostly teenagers who are interested in learning English during vacation time.
Usually, the program starts in July and ends in August.
This program is very popular and some schools will finish accepting students very soon.
If you have time during summer or winter vacation, it's time to go and study English in Canada.
Studying English abroad is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we're sure the participants can learn and experience a lot of things in Canada.

At English Plus, we encourage our students to try to speak English a lot especially during lessons.
Once in a while, they make some mistakes, but they really try hard and try to express what they want to say in their own words. (Great Job!)
Through the lessons at English Plus, I realized there are some mistakes our students often make, so today let's review not to make the same mistake again.
Now, let's find errors from our lessons during the fourth week of July in 2022 below.

1. I amn’t busy.
2. It’s difficult to explanation.
3. Please come back until 10.
