English Plus is a small school located in Tamachi, Tokyo.
We're providing fun, student-centered, practical English lessons.
Today, I'd like to write about one of our lesson programs for "Junior high school students" at English Plus.
Since English Plus started in 2011, we have prepared and offered a lot of lessons for both adults and kids.
Most of the lessons are "Group lessons", which consist of max 4 students in a class.
Some of our group lessons for "Adults" are as follows:
・Conversation lesson: This is good for those who would like to talk about what they want more freely (90min)
・TOEIC exam preparation lesson: This is a lesson for those who want to improve not only TOEIC score but also basic English ability (90min)
・1st Step English lesson: This is for beginners and you can talk about your daily lives one by one through the lessons (60min)
In addition to these lessons, we also have "Travel conversation lesson", "Basic listening lesson", "Business English lesson", and "TESOL course."
Some group lessons for "Kids" are such as:
・Phonics and Basic English lesson: This is for elementary school students and they can learn some basic phonics and acquire well-balanced English skills (60min)
・Junior High School English lesson: This is for junior high school students and good for those who are thinking about trying Eiken exam too (60min)
In addition to our group lessons, we have another one "Private lesson." (45min)
One advantage of "Private lesson" is they can learn English at their own pace.
Plus, they can ask questions more easily and they can clarify some points that they don't understand.
As COVID-19 pandemic started, we are often asked about "Private lessons" from the parents who have junior high school kids.
Our Private lessons can be customized, so even if a student is using an original textbook at his/her junior high school, no problem because we can arrange the lessons according to each student's purpose or goal.
Currently, there are a few time slots for private lessons available.
The private lesson is 45-min, and they can choose either once a week or twice a week.
