Today, let’learn some English vocabulary from our English lessons.
In one of our lessons at English Plus last week, there was a conversation topic about the ministries and government offices of Japan.
Some of the students wanted to know about them, so today let's learn English vocabulary!
For instance...
農林水産省 = Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan
経済産業省 = Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry
国土交通省 = Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport
防衛省 = Ministry of Defense
環境省 = Ministry of the Environment
内閣府 = Cabinet Office
These words might not be necessary in our daily lives, but just in case, let's prepare for the future!

本日は“レッスンから学ぶ日本の省庁に関する英語のトリビア（省の後編 - 日本語編）”です。

先週のEnglish Plusでの英語レッスンの中で、生徒の方々の会話のトピックの中に、ふと日本の省庁に関する英語が出てきました。

日本の省庁に関する英語は、日本語をそのまま英語に当てはめると通じるものもありますので、今日は少し英語のトレーニングも兼ねて英語のトリビアを学んでいきたいと思います。

農林水産省 = Ministry of A_____, F_____ and F_____ of Japan

経済産業省 = Ministry of E_____, T_____ and I_____

国土交通省 = Ministry of L_____, I_____ and T_____

防衛省 = Ministry of D_____

環境省 = Ministry of the E_____

When I checked some foreign websites the other day, I could see a topic or read an article about current Japanese economic policies, Abenomics.
Abenomics is, needless to say, the economic policies advocated by Shinzō Abe, the current Prime Minister of Japan.
In the articles, some praised and some criticized Abenomics.
Abenomics is related to economy and today let's learn English about economy.

・low growth economy / slow growth economy

日本では義務教育制度により、学校へ行き、勉強しますが、English Plusではレッスンの中では、生徒の方々の学校での経験談（昔の先生や友達の話題）などの話をすることもあります。

Novel Prize winners have been announced recently.
A few days ago, I heard that a Japanese physician, Shinya Yamanaka, won Novel Prize!
He was the 19th Japanese Nobel Prize winner and that was great news!
Actually, Mr. Yamanaka won "The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine."
There are some other Nobel prizes and today let's learn about them in English.

つい先日では、日本の医学者である山中伸弥さんがノーベル賞を受賞されました。

日本人では１９人目の受賞者となられるようで、素晴らしいことです！

今回、山中さんが受賞したのはノーベル医学生理学賞ですが、ノーベル賞には他にも色々な賞があります。

Good morning!
Thank you for your checking my blog!!
Since I started taking two business seminars in Kawasaki last year, I’ve been thinking about submitting my business plan in the business plan competition held in Kawasaki.
This business plan competition called "Kawasaki kigyoka (=entrepreneur) audition" is held 6 times annually, and whoever has new business plans can join!!

There are lots of reasons why I’d like to try this "Kawasaki kigyoka (=entrepreneur) audition", but the main purpose is that "I want to get my business plan evaluated objectively by some professionals."
As far as I take part in the competition, I will try my best and try to get the best result!!
Anyway, I'll just prepare for the best from now on!!
