もうすぐ折り返し、そろそろ降格圏内から抜け出さないと…ということで、クラブはもちろんばっさりやりました。

It is with great sadness the Board announce that Paul Ince is to leave the club. After a Board meeting yesterday it was decided to relieve Paul of his duties.
The Board, having selected Paul back in June, were desperate for him to succeed and wanted to give him as much time as possible in the unforgiving environment of Premier League management where time is such a precious commodity.
Chairman John Williams said "Three wins in 17 games has seen a squad, which finished seventh last season, fall to 19th position. We are currently in real danger of becoming detached from the pack.
"The survival of the club in the Premier League is paramount and our focus now is on finding a replacement who will be able to maintain our top division status.
"Paul will bounce back, he is a fighter and we wish him well."

（残念だけど、ポール・インスをクビにしたよ！やってくれると思ってたけど、17試合で3つしか勝てない監督じゃプレミアに残れないんだから！今ならまだ間に合うんだから！いつかはいい監督になれると思うけどさぁ…。）
もちろん意訳です、信用するのはほんの少しでお願いします。
ま、ウィガンに負けたら…というのは言われてましたからね。

NEW boss Sam Allardyce had no hesitation in taking up Rovers' offer of a return to Premier League management.
Following the departure of Paul Ince on Tuesday, Rovers wasted little time in approaching the former Bolton and Newcastle boss, and a deal was quickly concluded.
"When both parties want to come to the same decision, together you can reach a position quickly." said Allardyce.
"It is an unexpected position that the team find themselves in, I don't think anybody expected the club to be in the position it is.
"But having been there before I hope the players respond very quickly, I hope this is a blip, I hope this is a run of poor form.
"We have to get the players playing to the maximum of their ability, and hopefully we can move up the table.
"This is a great club to be managing, having walked around the facilities today, this is the best facilities that I've experienced as a manager.

　Rovers are a proud Lancashire club but hardly rich by the heady standards of the Premier League and have, at best, a modest fanbase. With so many other clubs competing for breathing space in Lancashire they compete in a very congested county.
　It is part of the reason why relegation for Blackburn would be a disaster. The Championship is packed full of clubs who have tasted the top flight, with its attendant cash riches and fat, long contracts, and disappeared without trace after falling through the trapdoor.
（ローバーズはもちろんランカシャーの誇りではあるけど、決して経済的に恵まれてもいないし、地元ファンによって支えられたごく普通のクラブ。で、さらにランカシャーはその「誇り」を争う多くのチームがある激戦区。）
（これがブラックバーンが降格を恐れる最大の理由。チャンピオンシップは降格とともにお金も選手も失い、そのまま這い上がれない元プレミアだらけなのだから。）
もちろんもうおわかりでしょうが、ものすごい意訳です。

私が滞英時プレミアだった７チームがチャンピオンシップに、さらにその下に２チームがいます。
プレミアではご近所のウィガン、ボルトンが現在中位をキープ。
降格したらサポーターはともかくスポンサーが離れるのは容易に想像できます。
厳しい状況だろうと思います。

だからこそ、アラダイス！なんとかしてもらいたいのです…。
お金も選手もうまく使って15位以上に滑り込んでもらいたいのです…。
