最近アナログ音源のデシタル化を少しづつやっているんですが、その中で発見した音楽から今日は１曲。

Lynsey De Paul(リンジー・ディ・ポール)のSugar Meです。

この曲しか聴いたことがなかったので、どんな人なのか全く知りませんでした。

YOUTUBEで映像を見つけましたが、綺麗な人ですね。

口元のほくろがチャームポイントですね。

囁くような歌声から思っていた以上に大人の女性という感じです。

ロンドン生まれのシンガーソングライター、この曲がデビュー曲なんですね。

Sugarって砂糖という名詞だと思っていましたが、動詞の意味もあったんですね。

直訳すれば、私を(砂糖のように)甘くしなさい。私のご機嫌をとりなさいということなんですものね。

勉強になりますねぇ。
