小学生の救世主現る The school boy Saviour appeared in front of us in Akihabara

私と同僚は、ユネスコの日本ータイ科学プログラムで来日したタイの高校生をホームビジットで受け入れた。

ホームビジットとは、ホームステイみたいなもので、一日だけ家族としてメンバーを受け入れてお昼を一緒に食べたりして過ごすというものだ。

同僚は手巻き寿司を準備した。タイの高校生は良く食べていた。さすが、食べ盛り。

お昼を食べた後は、浴衣を着せた。

一人はウーという男子、もう一人はルクタンという女子だった。

ルクタンは浴衣がとても似合っていて、うれしそうだった。

夕方まで何をするか考えたが、彼らが秋葉原に行きたいというので、そうすることにした。

I and my colleague accepted two Thai high school students as a home visit, they came to Japan by Thailand-Japan science bridge program of UNESCO.

A home visit is like one day home stay, we accept them as members of family, we eat a lunch and spend together a while.

My colleague served Temakizushi ( self serving style sushi ), Thai students ate well.

Good for youth!

After lunch, we dressed them Yukata.

They are a boy, Wu, and a girl, Luktan, especially she was very happy to get dressed Yukata, because she looked very nice in Yukata.

Till evening we thought what to do, they wanted to go to Akihabara, so we did.

 

ルクタンは何かを買いたいということだった。それは、トレーディングカードというやつで、とりあえず駅前のデパートに行った。

おもちゃ売り場に行ったが、そういうものがどこに売っているのかさっぱり見当がつかなかった。

売り場をうろうろしていると、なんと小学生の救世主が現れた。

彼が親切にも、私たちをそのカードを売っている店に連れて行ってくれるという。

すごい！！

Luktan wanted to buy something, and we tried to go to a department store, she wanted to get some trading cards, but we had no idea where we get them.

We walked around in the store to look for them, then a school boy Saviour appeared in front of us, he said kindly he can guide and take us to the store where we get them.

Great!!!

 

彼はその店まで私たちを連れて行ってくれ、ルクタンがお目当てのカードを買うのを手伝ってくれた。

このような店に来たこともないし、こんなカードのことも全くわからない。

そして、こういう機会でもなければ、こういう店に来ることは決してなかっただろう。

親切な小学生、そしてタイの高校生、どうもありがとう！

He took us to the store, and helped her to get the cards.

I'd never been to such kind of shops, and I'd no idea about such kind of cards.

And without this time's chance, I'd never came the shop like this...

Thank you, a kind schoolboy, and Thai students!

この世界はなぞに満ちている。

ある女子が私に、自分は市谷のロボットレストランで働いている、と言った。

新宿にロボットレストランがあるのは知っていた。

外国人観光客がたくさんそのロボットレストランに行くんだという話を聞いたことがある。

新宿に行った時にその前を通ったこともあった。

ああ、市谷にもロボットレストランがあるんだな。

ネットで検索してみたけど、見つからなかった。

There are full of mystery in the world.

One girl said to me that she works in a robot restaurant in Ichigaya.

I know a robot restaurant in Shinjuku. I heard many foreign travellers go this restaurant, I passed by near the restaurant when I went to Shinjuku.

Oh, in Ichigaya, there is a robot restaurant, too. I didn't know that.

I serched " a robot restaurant in Ichigaya " on the web, but I could never find it.

 

また別の日に、ある男子が言った。

「彼女のロボットレストランは、ロボットレストランという名前なのに、ロボットはいない！！

一台もいない！！

そして、メニューは、居酒屋のメニューみたいだ。

ランチセットにはサバの味噌煮がある。

とっても変なロボットレストランだ。」

Another day, an other boy said to me, " Her robot restaurant, its name is " robot restaurant ", but there is no robot!!

And, menu is like a Izakaya. ( Izakaya is a japanese style bar. )

As a lunch set menu, they have a " Sabano misoni ".

It is a very strange robot restaurant."

 

それは変だ。

ロボットレストランという名前なのにロボットがいない。

サバの味噌煮がある。

Very mysterious!

The name is robot restaurant, but there is no robot.

They have " Sabano misoni " menu...

 

ネットで検索して、気がついた。

それは「ロボットレストラン」ではなくて、「ろばたレストラン」だと！！！

I serched on internet, and I noticed it.

That is not " Robot restaurant ", but " Robata restaurant "!!!!

One of my questions no.1 私の疑問 その１

この世界はなぞに満ちている。

いつもこれを考え出すと、夜も眠れなくなる、、、。

それは、マシーンについてのことだ。

何か機械があるとする。その機械を作るためには、機械を作る機械が必要だ。

そして、その機械を作る機械を作るためには、さらに機械が必要だ。

終わりがない、、、。

そして、なにか大きな機械を作るためには、もっと大きな機械が必要。さらにさらに大きくなっていく。

 

There are full of mystery in the world.

I always thought about a thing, when I began to think about it, I couldn't sleep at night...

That is a question something about an indastry, a something machine.

For exemple, you use a machine, for product it, you need another machine.

And to produce this machine, you need another machine...never ending...

If you want to produce some big machine, you need bigger one for produce it.　Bigger and bigger...

 

風力発電の機械を設計している古い友達がいる。

彼の仕事の話はとても面白かった。どうやって機械を作るのか、どうやって設置するのか。

I have an old friend, who is an designer of wind power generator.

His talk about his job was very interesting, how to make a wind power generator, how to set it.

 

彼が私の疑問に答えてくれた。

何か大きいものを作る時には、必ずしもそれよりも大きい機械が必要になるわけじゃない。

パーツで作って、後で組み立てればいいわけだから。

そうか！

彼のおかげで私の疑問がやっと解けたのだった。

 

He answered to my question.

If you product some big machine, you always don't need bigger one for make it.

Because you can make parts divided.

Oh, I see！

Thanks to him, my question found an answer at last.
