今日は聖母マリア懐胎の日というパブリックホリデーで学校は休み。
それでベイストリートへ買い物に来た。ベイストリートはパーチャビルにあるショッピングモールで１階と２階は服のショップが何軒か、その他は雑貨屋、本屋さん、おもちゃ屋さん、マクドナルド、２４時間営業のカフェ、ゲームセンターなど。３階はレストランとカフェ、ハードロックカフェマルタもここにある。４階より上はホテル。
この建物の中心に今は大きいクリスマスツリーがたっていてきれいだが誘惑が多くて浪費しそうになるので出来るだけ避けていた。でも今日は例外。おじいちゃんとおばあちゃんに送るクリスマスカードを買った。
The school was closed today by a public holiday which is Immaculate conception. So I went to Bay street, which is a shopping mall in Pacevill, that has some cloths shop, a general store, a book shop, a toy shop, McDonald, a cafe open for 24 hours and an amusement arcade in the grand and first first floor. Some restaurants including Hard Rock Cafe Malta are in the second floor. Upper from the third floors are hotel. Now at the center of this mall, a big christmas tree is standing and beautiful. There are much temptation here, so I have avoided to come here though it is an exception day. Because I needed to get Christmas cards for my grandparents.
