We had the 151st session of Niimi English Salon on St. Valentine's Day, February 14th.
The guest speaker for the session was Donald Wynn, an ALT in Niimi from Colorado Springs, USA.
Previously Donald did a presentation for the 131st Niimi English Salon session about his hometown Colorado Springs and the State of Colorado. (See 第131回新見英語サロン開催 for Japanese and English report.)
This time Donald talked about the native American tribes in Colorado.
He explained life styles, cultures and languages of the tribes.
I learned a lot of things through listening to and interpreting his explanation.
Unfortunately Donald has to leave Niimi at the end of March and he is to teach in schools in Takahashi City next school year.
We hope he can come visit us in Niimi sometimes.
Since this session was on Valentine's Day, Mrs. Kisoda has kindly brought sweet chocolate for everybody.
Thank you very much Doland and Kisoda-san.
