Ski season has come!
One day in that term.
I’ve met a man come from <st1:country-region><st1:place>Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region>.
He is ski instructor.
In winter, he works in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Japan</st1:place></st1:country-region>
in summer (in winter in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region>) he works in <st1:country-region><st1:place>Australia</st1:place></st1:country-region>.

In general,we are teached in 3 steps,
プルークボーゲン、シュテームターン、パラレルターン.
Is that same in foreign country?

I asked him.
All in all, it’s same.
プルーク is “snow plough”.”plough” is 鍬.
“plough” is King’s English,
In <st1:country-region><st1:place>USA</st1:place></st1:country-region> “plough” is plow.

常々疑問に思っていたのですが、ボーゲンって何？
シュテームターンのシュテームって何？
（ボーゲンはプルークボーゲンとも聞きますが・・・）
また、ボーゲン→シュテーム→パラレルターンという
教え方は世界標準なのか？

そんな中、オーストラリアから来たスキーインストラクターと話す機会があったので、
聞いて見ました。
やはりこの３ステップで教えるそうです。
そしてプルークは鍬。畑を耕す、牛のとかで引くあれですね。なるほど~
ところでploughはイギリス英語。やはりオーストラリアはイギリスの影響を受けてんだな。
