September 28, My thought about the war between Israel and Palestinian Arabs and that between Christian countries (among others, USA)
and Moslem fundamentalists (Moslem people led by Osama bin Laden and his successors)

The war between Israel and Palestinian Arabs is said to result from the three contradictory promises by UK and it is deep-rooted. The
war between Christian countries (among others, USA) and Moslem fundamentalists (Moslem people led by Osama bin Laden and his successors)
is thought to result from the power-based politics adopted by the politicians of the related countries.
The victims are the engulfed citizens of the related countries. The more powerful countries should rely on negotiation with the opposing countries without using arms and ammunition. Vengeance repeats itself leading to endless quagmire strives, like the above-mentioned wars.

Philosophies of Buddhism, Hinduism, and Taoism are summarized to be symbiosis with the universe. They never resort to power even if
strives take place like Mr. Mahandas Karamchand Gandhi made India independent without violence.

Recently quite a few Catholic priests, sisters and scholars have been feeling growing crises in the present world situation, seeking new
paradigms and studying & experiencing the above-mentioned philosophies and practices. As the result they have come to perceive that the above-mentioned philosophies can be what presides the universe and have been spreading what they have been experiencing.

The names of those peoples are as follows: (These people are mentioned in the book titled "Light sitting in light" authored by Sister MacIness, Ilaine. and as to whether each person is alive or not, the reference year is 1996 when the book was published.)

Sister MacIness, Ilaine (1924~, Canadian),Mr. Habito, Ruben (1947~, residing in USA), Mr. Aitken, Robert Baker (1917~,residing in Hawaii), Mr. Lassalle, Hugo Makibi Enomiya (1898~1990, German)、Mr. Campbell, Joseph John (1904~1987, scholar in study of comparison of religions), Mr. Kennedy, Robert (1933~, residing in USA), Mr. McGarrell,Lawrence (1947~, ex-rector of musical institute in Hiroshima, Japan), Mr. Merton, Thomas (1915~1968, American).

Japan waived wars as the measures of strife with other countries and enacted it in its Constitution. Therefore Japan should spread the above-mentioned philosophies of the Orient, that is to say, "symbiosis with the universe", not merely as the only nation that knows what
nuclear destruction is but also as a a Buddhist nation. Nevertheless, alas, the Japanese government is of too poor caliber to implement
it at the present.

NAM AMIDABUTSU, NAM AMIDABUTSU
I thank AMIDA BUDDHA and SHAKA BUDDHA and bow to spread Buddhism.
