イタリアの最大手ニットブランド、GRANSASSOの逸品になります。
Pitti UOMOでも出展されておりまして、かなりの品番を展開されるGRANSASSOですが、
僕は、其の中でもトラディッショナルな逸品を毎シーズンセレクトしております。
This is a masterpiece from Italy's largest knit brand, GRANSASSO.
GRANSASSO is exhibited at Pitti UOMO and has a wide range of product numbers.
I select traditional gems every season.
こちらのリネンコットンの糸も毎シーズン春夏物では定番として何がしら展開しております。
ミドルゲージで緯糸にリネンを使用しまして縦糸に強いコットン糸を使用してスウェーター自身の型崩れも
防いでおります。
（本日ご紹介はカーディガンですが）
そしてコットン糸を使用することに依り、

僕自身も、この手合いのメランジェには弱くて見つけたら何がしら個人買い、イエイエお仕事ですから
オーダーですね。
さて、全貌ですが、

If you use only linen thread, the overall image will be earth-toned, which is nice in its own way.

こちらのミドルゲージのショールカラーカーディガンとなります。
アウター代わりに羽織って頂ける感じです。
シンプルでトラディッショナルな雰囲気でしょう！
其れも其の筈、皆様も良くご存知のBROOKS BROTHERSのイタリア製ニットのOEMをGRANSASSOは
手掛けているのです。
特にこのリネンコットンの糸は、ブルックスブラザーズがよく使ってたそうです。
実は、リネン68％コットン32％にも秘密がありまして、イタリアから米国に輸入した際、
コットンの方が税率が高かった為、リネン勝ちの糸になったと云う逸話もございます。
そしてブルックスブラザーズが扱っていたのも判る気がします、米国製のニットメーカーでは、中々この手合いの
雰囲気を演出できるところが無いからだと思うのです。
やはり、ニットのイタリアですね！
僕の提唱するヨーロッパな目線のアメトラにはピッタリなニットメーカーだと思うのです。

In particular, this linen cotton thread is said to have been often used by Brooks Brothers.
Actually, there is a secret to 68% linen and 32% cotton, when it was imported from Italy to the United States.
There is an anecdote that it became a winning yarn over linen because cotton had a higher tax rate.
And I think it's understandable that Brooks Brothers carries it, as there are many American knitwear manufacturers that have this type of product.
I think it's because there's no place to create an atmosphere.
After all, it is Italy of knitting!
I think this is the perfect knitwear manufacturer for the European perspective that I advocate.
こちらのボタンも艶消しで男臭い雰囲気の演出に一手間掛けておりますしね。

この巻物も実は一薀蓄ございまして、ミラノにGierreと云う巻物とネクタイの専業ブランドがあるのですが、
（頭首の意向で全ての工程を目の届くところで作りたいと、水の綺麗なコモ湖の工房で生地の生産から裁断それに
縫製に至るまで行っているメーカー）
その二代目頭首が、コンパクトに展開を始めたのが、REGAGLIAなんです。
Gierreのコレクションとは雰囲気も異なり90年代のブルックスブラザーズなどの影響を強く受けた巻物を展開
しているのです。
このリネンコットンのバンダナ柄の巻物も素敵ですから、後日詳しく御紹介もさせて頂きますね。
