ゴールデンウイーク恒例となったクラシック音楽の祭典「ラ・フォル・ジュルネ・オ・ジャポン『熱狂の日』音楽祭２０１４」（東京国際フォーラム主催、読売新聞社特別協力）が５月３～５日、東京・有楽町の東京国際フォーラムを主会場に開かれる。
１７日、概要が発表された。
２００５年の初開催から１０回目を迎える今年のテーマは「１０回記念 祝祭の日」。これまで取り上げたベートーベンやモーツァルト、シューベルト、ショパン、チャイコフスキーなどに加え、米国の作曲家ガーシュウィンの作品を取り上げる。
会期中は、フォーラム内の６会場と隣接するよみうりホール、さらに３月にオープンする東京・大手町のよみうり大手町ホールで、計１４５の有料公演が予定され、主催者は延べ４８万人の来場者を見込んでいる。チケットの一般発売は３月１５日から。
