夕方雨が降って来たので、近所の公園で遊んでいる長男を迎えに行った。
遠くから泣き声が聞こえる。
『もしや！我が息子！？』
やっぱり、大きい男の子に囲まれてビービー泣いているのはうちの子だ。
「コラ～～～～ッッ！！」ドスの聞いた声でのしのし近づいて行った私を見て、息子を含む４人が皆固まった。
「何やってんの！？」と問いただす私。
皆ビクビク。
どうやらいじめていたわけではなく、ちょっとからかっていたのがエスカレートしてしまったようだ。
「あんたたちは４年生でしょ？この子は１年生だよ。泣かすなら同じ年の子を泣かしなさい。小さい子を泣かすなんてオトコとしてフェアじゃない！！」と、説教しつつ、こんな叱り方でいいんだろーかとも思っていた、、、。
今まで、息子の年齢より上の子供と接する機会はほとんどなかったから、大きい子供たちとどう付き合っていいのか、いまいちわからないんである。
「マミー、すごい怖い顔してぼくのこと怒りに来たのかと思った」と言いつつも、にこにこして抱きついて来た息子。
いざとなったら助けに来てくれる頼もしい母、と思ってもらえたらヨシ。
‘あいつのカアちゃんは怒らせるとコワイ’とやんちゃ坊主たちに思われたらヨシ！

I went to the park near our place to pick up my oldest son because it started raining.
I heard someone crying.
‘Is that my son!?’
It was my son. He was surrounded by some older kids and was crying.
‘Hey,what are you guys doing over there!!??’
They froze as I spoke in a deep voice and approached them.
‘What's going on here?’ I asked.
They looked scared.
According to one of the boys, they were just teasing my son and didn't mean to be mean.
‘You guys are 4th graders. My son is 1st grader. If you want to make someone cry, go find kids in your own age. It's not fair for a man to make a little kid cry! ’
I wondered if it was good to scold them like that, though.
I haven't had much of a chance to talk to older kids than my son before, so I still don't know how to deal with them.
‘Mommy, you looked so scary that I thought you are mad at me. ’
My son smiled and threw himself into my arms.
It is good that my son knows that I'll be there anytime for him to save him.
It is very good that those naughty boys think I am a tough mommy!
HAH,HAH,HAH!!
