何か知らんが、天下の New York Times で 猪瀬 直樹（Naoki INOSE）東京都都知事が2020年夏季五輪招致に関して「イスラム教圏の国は、（唯一神）アラー以外に共通点がなくお互い戦争ばっかしてて階層社会（制度の世界）だ（適当訳）」なんてのたまってた。

But Islamic countries, the only thing they share in common is Allah and they are fighting with each other, and they have classes.”
Asked later to elaborate on his characterization of Istanbul, a spokesman said Inose meant that simply being the first Islamic country to hold the Olympics was not a good enough reason to be chosen, just as being the first Buddhist country or the first Christian country would not be, either.
The spokesman said Inose did not mean to refer to “class.”

猪瀬知事の言い分としては、本来なら２０２０年東京オリンピック招致について具体的に答えていたそうですが…実は、ニューヨークタイムズの取材の主な目的というのは、２０２０年の東京オリンピック招致なんぞどうでもよかったのです。
とにかく、猪瀬都知事がインタビュー中に同じく立候補しているマドリード・イスタンブールに関する批判的なインタビューが取れればそれを記事にすることなのです。
そしたら、見事にイスタンブールオリンピック誘致における批判が出てきました。オリンピック誘致においてイスラム圏を批判してはいけないことは駄入れもが承知かと思いますが…つい本音がポロリと出てしまったのでしょうね。
そして、ＩＯＣ（国際オリンピック委員会）が、オリンピック規定に抵触する恐れありと言われ、最後には立候補している都市の批判及び比較することを行ってはいけないというを再認識させる声明文まで発表する事態となってしまったのです。
当然、猪瀬都知事はＩＯＣから注意喚起されております。そして、トルコ政府の関係者から苦言を呈されております。ちなみに、イスタンブールオリンピック招致委員会からは、コメントがありません。
これは、もしイスタンブールオリンピック招致委員会が、猪瀬都知事に対するコメントに対して反論したりすると、イスタンブールもＩＯＣから注意喚起されますので、さすがに反論はしませんでした。さすがです。
要するに、２０１６年のリオデジャネイロオリンピック招致の成功によって、イスタンブールも２０２０年のオリンピック誘致成功に導くことが出来ると見越したことから今回オリンピックに立候補していると考えれば誰もが納得します。
５月に国際スポーツアコード会議があります。猪瀬都知事はもちろん行かれるのでしょう。ＪＯＣ（日本オリンピック委員会）の竹田恒和理事長は、「石原元都知事より猪瀬都知事の方がタチが悪い、よりよってイスタンブールオリンピックを批判するとは、何ということだ！」と感じておられますね。
２０２０年の東京オリンピックを実現するのは、ほぼ難しいことが言えるかと思いますね。
＞ＪＯＣ（日本オリンピック委員会）の竹田恒和理事長は、「石原元都知事より猪瀬都知事の方がタチが悪い、よりよってイスタンブールオリンピックを批判するとは、何ということだ！」と感じておられますね。
確かに（苦笑）。
石原前都知事は五輪招致に関して色々問題含みの発言を繰り返しているんですが、大きな問題になったのは 2016年五輪招致活動終了後リオデジャネイロが「裏取引をした」云々という発言くらいなんですよね。
その意味では、2020年夏季五輪招致活動中にあんな発言をした猪瀬知事について竹田理事長が 。さん のおっしゃるような心境になっていても不思議はありません。
まぁ、以前にも猪瀬知事は件の発言に通じる危険な発言を Twitter 上でカマしていたのですが・・・。
