さて、いよいよ、ソロ作品を中心に行きましょう。
まず、前作「Secrets Of The Beehive」から、僅か12年の歳月をつぎやした超大作「Dead Bees On A Cake」。
12年経ってもタイトルにＢｅｅ（蜂）をもってくる事に、何か前作へのこだわりをみせられる。
しかし、この長い年月には、でびの苦悩、失望、結婚など様々な変化が起こっている。
レコーディングに5年をつぎやし、独り山籠りをするなど、この作品への思いは、前作の完成度を超えなければならないという難しさがあった。
