BARBOURのレインブーツになります。
膝下までのロングブーツになりますので大雨の際などにも重宝して頂けますね。
僕達の波乗りの監督、気サーフボードの櫛本さん宅に梅雨時に訪れた際、確か膝下丈のレインブーツを
履いておられまして、其のカジュアルな出で立ちが格好良かったのを記憶しております。
其の時、
（僕の生活には必需品やから！）と仰っておりました。
確かに海を前にしました山の山中に自宅やシェイプルームからギャラリーまでを構えております櫛本さんの姿は
自然に溶け込んでおりましたね。
それから僕もHUNTERの展示会に出向いた際、ロングのレインブーツを個人買いしまして雨天時の五郎の散歩や
山の伐採などに重宝しております。
特に雨天時などの外出は気が重くなりがちですが、レインブーツを履きますと何故か心が躍りまして（多分、子どもの頃
の長靴の気分でしょうね）外出も楽しくなるもんです。
特に男性の場合などは膝下までのブーツを履く機会などは少なくて、雨天時になれば、今までお手持ちのレインウェアー
などの名脇役として装いに華を咲かしてくれますね。
These are BARBOUR rain boots.
They are long boots that reach down to the knees, so they are useful in heavy rain.
When I visited our surfing director, Kushimoto-san of Ki Surfboards, during the rainy season, he was wearing rain boots that reached down to the knees, and I remember that he looked cool in his casual outfit.
At that time, he said,
(Because they are a necessity in my life!)
Indeed, Kushimoto-san, who has his home, shaping room, and gallery in the mountains facing the sea, blended in with nature.
Then, when I went to a HUNTER exhibition, I bought a pair of long rain boots for myself, and I use them for walking Goro in the rain and for cutting trees in the mountains.
Going out in the rain can be depressing, but when I wear rain boots, I feel excited for some reason (probably like wearing rain boots as a child), and going out is fun.
Especially for men, there are few opportunities to wear knee-high boots, and when it rains, they will add a touch of elegance to your outfit as a supporting role to your existing rainwear.
ライニングはバブアーのお馴染みのチェック柄を採用しております。

ソールもノンスリップソールになります。
The sole is also a non-slip sole.
履き口には、アジャスターも装備されております。
The opening is also equipped with an adjuster.
この手合いのロングブーツは脱ぐ時に一苦労なんですが、踵のこの部分に引っ掛けますと楽チンに脱ぐ事も
可能となります。
よく考えられておりますね。ブーツジャッキ要らず！
These types of long boots can be a struggle to take off, but if you hook them onto this part of the heel, they will come off easily.
That's a great idea. No boot jack needed!
曲げる事が多い、この甲の部分は補強されております。
This part of the instep, which is often bent, is reinforced.
つま先も頑丈な仕上げとなっておりますね。
それから特筆すべき点ですが、
The toes are also very sturdy.
And one other thing worth mentioning is that
左が僕のHUNTERで右がBARBOURなんですが、BOARBOURは素材のゴム自身に加硫ゴム使用しており、
HUNTERより格段に柔らかくて着脱も楽チンとなります。
これ大事なところなんです。
履くのはいいのですが、脱ぐ際に一汗かきますので。
実際に履きますと、
On the left are my HUNTERs and on the right are my BARBOURs. The BOARBOURs are made from vulcanized rubber,
which makes them much softer than the HUNTERs and easier to put on and take off.
This is an important point.
They're fine to wear, but you'll sweat when you take them off.
