日本では未だ未だ認知度は低いのですが、（僕の見解ですが）
欧米では、動物性たんぱく質を取らない着ない方々も多くて、西海岸などでは昔からカフェやレストランなど
街ごとにございまして、僕もよく間違えて入ったもんです。
入った以上、何か頼まなくてはと思い野菜ベースのサンドウィッチなどそそくさと食べて出たもんです。
昔は、入店すればお香の香りが漂いましてロングヘアーのヒッピーライクな店員さんが注文取りに来ておりました。
LOVE&PIECEの世界ですね。
まあ、BIRKENSTOCK自体、70年代のアメリカのヒッピー文化でアメリカに浸透したと言いましても過言じゃありません
よね。
20代の頃、先輩がサンフランシスコの近郊の町で住まわれておりまして、出向いた際にはヘイトSTに出向きまして
古着を購入したりカフェで楽しんだりしておりましたが、ヒッピーライクと云うかヒッピーの叔父さんやお爺さんが
カフェにたむろしておりましたね。
70年代から全く変わっていないのだろうなと思ったもんです。
そんな方々がボロボロのARIZONAなど履いておりまして、其の格好良さに感動したもんです。
そう云う履き方も素敵だとは思うのですが、時代時代に添いました着熟しを楽しむのもお勧めですね。
さてお話を戻しまして、

指の先に指一本分のゆとりをお勧めします。
We recommend that you leave a space of one finger on the tip of your finger.
踵もフットベッドの中にこんな感じでスッポリ入るのが正しいサイズ感となります。
入らなければフットベッドを潰してしまうので。
The correct size is when the heel fits comfortably in the footbed like this.
Because if you don't get in, you'll crush the footbed.
そして指先のストラップは緩めに締めて下さい。
歩いた際に足の指が動くのを妨げないようにする為です。
And the fingertip strap should be loosely tightened.

そして2本目のストラップはきつめに締めて足の甲を固定してあげて下さい。
And please tighten the second strap tightly and fix the instep.
このモデルは、フットベッドもマイクロファイバーになります。
