Dear Doctor Jigen,
I have tekan note of the point raise against the authors of a paper published in the Journal of Hypertension more than five years ago, and - in your opinion - partly repeated in subsequent papers in other journals. Not having the original figure any longer (the paper was submitted before all manuscript had to be sent electronically), and obviously not having the originals of the figures published in other journals, I have some difficulty to safely recognize the "identity" of the figures. I also found you have discovered very late the alledged falsification.
In any case, since the publication on Journal of Hypertension was the first one in time, you may more properly address your complaints with the Editors of the journals that published the figures in question after the Journal of Hypertension.

] by Kase H, Hashikabe Y, Uchida K, Nakanishi N, Hattori Y. published in J Hypertens. [2005 Jul;23(7):1375-82.]. You can find the fabricated (falsified) Figure 5(a) : namely, eNOS Western blot image in Figure 5(a) of the above article [J Hypertens. 2005 Jul;23(7):1375-82.] is identical to eNOS Western blot image in Figure 4 of another article [Eur J Pharmacol. 2007 Jan 19;555(1):48-53.] and MCP-1 Wstern blot image (left-right reversal) in Figure 4(B) of another article [Hypertension. 2006 Jun;47(6):1183-8.] .
Moreover, iNOS Protein Western blot images in Figure 5 of the above article [J Hypertens. 2005 Jul;23(7):1375-82.] is identical to iNOS Western blot image in Figure 4 of another article [Eur J Pharmacol. 2007 Jan 19;555(1):48-53.] and MCP-1 Western blot image in Figure 3(C) of another article [Life Sci. 2007 Aug 23;81(11):939-43.].

I also found you have discovered very late the alledged falsification.
In any case, since the publication on Journal of Hypertension was the first one in time, you may more properly address your complaints with the Editors of the journals that published the figures in question after the Journal of Hypertension.
