台湾を国家扱いしたのが悪い―というのでつるし上げを生中継だの、まあ不味いわなあ。
政治的・宗教的見解の如何で点数・評価が変わるのはよくはない。一般的には。しかし、それが合格・落第に関わらない場合、思想の自由の妥協点として許容されるというのが一般的であってほしい。
…たとえばある種の信仰のひとは、「ヤハウェ」と書けないだろう。この場合、「ヤハウェ」書かなかったことをもって一年間の単位を認めない、とかいうのはダメだ。
一切の武装・武道の実践を否定するのは個人の自由だ。なので、まあ、国際武道大学とかには入らない選択ができる。あらかじめ、必修「武道」があるところは避けることができる。しかし「体育」の名前で、実質武道必修だった場合―武道をしないと自動的に単位が落ちるという設計の場合―点数評価のほうが不適切だということになる。
―なので、「ヤハウェ」と書けずに落ちる点数は、高校3年・倫理の年間100点のうち、2点くらいなら許容範囲だろう。
これさえダメだ、ヤハウェと書けない学生のために、そもそもテストに出すことさえ許されない、というなら―反共主義者が「マルクス」と書けないことにも配慮を要するとか、まあ際限がなくなる。
なので、「体育」のなかの「武道」枠も、30点くらいまでなら許容されるんじゃないだろうか（基礎体育能力で20、陸上競技20、球技30とかでどうだ）。

学生の言い分によれば、台湾人に対するrespectはせずによいらしい！ …ダメだなそれ。

思想の自由に属する範囲なら、もうこういうしかない。実際、台湾は”非常に高度な自治権を行使している”といわざるをえないだろう。それでなおcountryともなんとも呼べないというなら、もう言葉の定義をずらしてみましょうかとか…。
…「極めて高度な自治権を行使しており、独自に諸外国と交渉し、場合によっては中央政府に代わって国家承認を得ることもあるいち地方政府」とかだろうか。これでも「一つの中国」原則に反するか…。
「In May, Monash University suspended a lecturer over a test question which suggested that Chinese officials told the truth only when "drunk or careless".」
…うん、これはまずいだろう。侮辱的かな、やはり。
「Others have also suggested that expression in class has been affected by some students' nationalist sentiments」

「Expressing such ideas is not a problem per se, Mr Benney stressed. But he said many academics, including himself, had encountered instances of Chinese students trying to prevent academic staff or fellow students "from expressing critical opinions" on China」
