安倍首相の訪問を１面で大きく報じたトルコ各紙（貞広貴志撮影）
【アンカラ＝貞広貴志】トルコの４日付主要紙は、２～３日の安倍首相訪問を１面で大々的に報じ、親日国ならではの「異例の高い関心」（現地消息筋）を示した。
特に注目を集めたのが、トルコ北部シノップで三菱重工業を主体とする企業連合が建設する見通しとなった原子力発電所に関する合意で、ほぼ全紙が事業費の２２０億ドル（約２兆２０００億円）を見出しに取った。リベラル紙「タラフ」は、「喜んで原発を」という見出しで報じた。
野党系「ワタン」は、「原発は日本に受注させるから、五輪はこちらに」との大見出しを掲げ、両国首脳が五輪招致でエール交換したエピソードを紹介。福島で事故を起こした日本が事業を担うことや、原発推進そのものへの批判は、ほぼなかった。
