NHK大河ドラマ『西郷どん』の雑な感想

　NHK大河ドラマ『西郷どん』を毎週見ている。

　視聴率を争うライバル『イッテQ！』に勝つ為にその中心的視聴層である子供・若者や歴史に関心知識の薄い層を取り込もうと極力分かりやすく創ろうと努力しているのが明らか。（『篤姫』が大成功した台湾をはじめとする将来の海外視聴者のことも考慮に入れているはず。）
　歴史に興味がある層にとっては史実と異なる点が多くかつ薄味なので不満が多いだろう。
　史実と違うというだけで批判的になっていた『篤姫』『龍馬伝』の頃の私なら途中で見るのを止めていたかもしれない。だが、史実に関しては比較的寛容になったし、前述の基本的製作姿勢を理解している（つもりな）ので、それなりに楽しく付き合っている。
