Dear TRADITIO Fathers:

Given that the present Newpope and his Newclergy are illegitimate beyond doubt, I have gone over to the sede-vacantist position (that the Apostolic See is vacant) and do not recognize Francis-Bergoglio as legitimate. As to Bernie Fellay, the Superior-Dictator of the Neo-SSPX, his machinations to sell out to the anti-Catholic Newchurch of the New Order have been going on for many years. If Archbishop Lefebvre were alive today, he would ignore the false "authorities" of what he called the anti-Catholic Modernist Rome. Yes, things are bad for the Church, but that is how God shows his anger -- by giving us the bad leaders that we deserve.

Archbishop Lefebvre was a wise and prudent man, who was personally present at the Vatican II Anti-council and knew all the Modernists, like Josef Ratzinger (later styled Benedict) and Hannibal Bugnini, who were scheming to replace the Catholic Church as the "institutional Church" with a Newchurch, which the Modernists in fact did accomplish in 1964.

In 1988, the Archbishop finally broke with the anti-Catholic Newchurch and talked about reverting to the Traditional Latin Mass (pre-1956) in place of the Half New Order Mess of 1962, which he never completely accepted. The Archbishop wrote in his last year, 1991, that if things got any worse, the sede-vacantist theory, which he never rejected completely as a theory, would become a probable conclusion.

We concur in that the current situation of the Church is a test, and the pseudo-traditional Catholics like Bernie Fellay and his Neo-SSPX (the Archbishop's SSPX doesn't exist any longer) are failing the test badly -- a good explanation for why the current intolerable situation will persist for a good long while.

 フェレー司教様のインタビューを聞くと、次の点が注目に値すると思います。ローマの聖ピオ十世会に対する態度がより好意的になっていること、です。

1) 聖ピオ十世会の司祭たちに通常裁治権を与えたこと。これは、聖ピオ十世会は修道会として存在しているし、聖ピオ十世会の司祭たちはいかなる制裁も受けていない、ということを意味している。

2) ローマから正式に派遣された高位聖職者らが聖ピオ十世会に訪問して、聖ピオ十世会がいつも問題視してきた、第二バチカン公会議の諸問題点は、議論の余地のあるものだと認識し、そう打ち明けてきたこと。つまり、信教の自由、司教団体主義、エキュメニズム、新しいミサや、秘跡の新しい典礼様式などは、信じなければならないドグマではなく、解決されていない問題(オープン・クェスチョン)だ、と言うことを認めていること。

COMMENT: The SSPX convert these Romans? What an illusion! Again, Fr Schmidberger has little to no idea of the deep perversion of modernism which he is up against. It is not “normal” for Catholics to submit to modernists. “Exile” need not mean loss of the sense of the Church.

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, was ordained to the priesthood on September 21, 1929, and consecrated a bishop on September 18, 1947, by (the late) Achille Cardinal Lienart, Bishop of Archbishop Lefebvre’s diocese of Lille (France).

Recently, it was revealed that Cardinal Lienart was apparently a Freemason. From this, certain naive persons with only the vaguest grasp of theological principles and with an obvious desire to interpret everything so as to confirm their own obsessive personal theories on the present crisis in the Church, have imagined that sacramental acts performed by the cardinal were invalid,

The SSPX is no way “out of the woods.”
Resistant bishops must “deliver the goods”!

Ever since the General Chapter of July, 2012, when under Bishop Fellay’s direction the Society of St Pius X took a decisive lurch towards a compromise agreement with Conciliar Rome, Catholics of Tradition have wondered where the two other SSPX bishops stand, Bishop Tissier de Mallerais (BpT) and Bishop de Galarreta (BpG), because both have been rather discreet in public since that time. However, firm words spoken by each of them last month have raised hopes for the future of the SSPX. Are the hopes justified? Catholics may need to remain on their guard . . .

The Confirmations sermon of BpT given on January 31 in Saarbrücken in Germany could not have been more upright or clear. For instance: In the SSPX’s confrontation with Rome, it may never go in for compromise or double-dealing. We can never negotiate with Rome so long as the representatives of the Newchurch (sic) cling to the errors of Vatican II. Any talk of ours with Rome must be unambiguous, and have as its purpose the conversion of the Newchurch representatives back to our one and only truth of Catholic Tradition. No compromise or double-dealing until they have got over their Conciliar errors, and have converted back to the Truth.

Admirable words! Uprightness is not BpT’s problem. He is no politician, God bless him. His problem is that when it comes to putting words into action, his “Fiftiesism” makes him obey his Superior and fall back in line with the politicians of SSPX HQ in Menzingen. Nothing indicates that this will not happen again this time, but we may always pray that, as the proverb says, “Even a worm will turn.” BpT is far from a worm, but he is hiding from himself, or genuinely cannot see, the full malice of Menzingen’s action. It is not just the unity and welfare of the SSPX which is at stake, but the Catholic Faith.

On the contrary BpG is a politician. Unfortunately we do not have the full text of the conference he gave in Bailly, France, on January 17, because his exact words count, so we can only quote from a summary of his main thoughts: Rome’s latest theological and canonical proposals for a Rome-SSPX agreement remain unacceptable, but the Pope certainly wants an agreement and he is perfectly capable of overriding his own officials and of imposing a “unilateral” recognition on the SSPX. Such a recognition could definitely harm the SSPX internally, but if the SSPX had done nothing to obtain it, then there is nothing that the SSPX could do about it. However, Providence would once more watch over the Archbishop’s work.

But, your Excellency, Menzingen has now for many years been doing all it can by political negotiation to arrive at official recognition by Rome, and its eventual “unilateral” arrival would be a mere pretence to deceive Traditionalists so as to sell out the SSPX under cover of claiming, no doubt with Rome’s permission behind the scenes, that it was all Rome’s fault. But the fact would remain that the Archbishop’s Society would finally be betrayed, and you with your own “No, no, a thousand times no . . . but possibly, yes” would have to answer for not having done all you could and should have done to block its betrayal.

In brief, that emergency lighting system of the Universal Church in Conciliar darkness, which is the SSPX, is itself flickering and in danger of no longer giving light. Therefore that repair team to sustain the emergency lighting, which is the “Resistance,” is still needed, and that team needs a sufficiency of good foremen. A third bishop for the “Resistance” is planned, as last year for March 19 at the monastery near Nova Friburgo in Brazil. He is its Prior, Fr Thomas Aquinas, faithful warrior and veteran of the post-Conciliar war for the Faith. May God be with him, and with all the humble and faithful servants of God.

In conclusion, in the Church’s current state, and for Bishop de Galarreta, it is not to be desired that an agreement should happen.
And what if it would happen anyway (say by a “unilateral” recognition)? That would create real trouble in the Fraternity. Numerous priests would refuse and would be tempted to leave. To the extent we will not have sought it (this recognition), we will be unable to do anything. Providence will [would] once again watch over the work of Archbishop Lefebvre.

 ところが、見て下さい。私たちは教皇様御自身が偽りの宗教の宗教儀式に参列し、異端的宗派の会堂において祈り、説教しているのを目の当たりにします。テレビはこのびっくりするような出来事の映像を全世界に伝えています。だから、信者たちはもはやわけが分からなくなっているのです。

 マルティン・ルターについて、後で述べますが、彼は全諸国を教会から切断し、カトリックの聖職位階秩序を広範囲にわたって破壊することになった精神的かつ政治的騒乱にヨーロッパを投げ込みました。ルターは間違った救いの教理と間違った秘蹟の教理を作り上げたのです。ルター以後、続々と出てきた全ての革命家たちはヨーロッパと全世界を無秩序に投げ込むのですが、ルターの教会に対する反乱は、その革命家たちのお手本となったのです。五百年たった今、この様な革命家たちは、ルターを教会の預言者とか博士にまつり上げたがっています。でもそれは不可能です。彼は聖人ではないからです。

 ところが、カトリック文書集(La Documentation catholique)や、教区の文書を読むと、バチカンに公に認められたカトリックとルター派(ルーテル派とも言う)の合同委員会の筆になる次のような声明が載っていました。[La Documentation catholique, 3 juillet 1983, n. 1085, pp.696-697]曰く、

「第二バチカン公会議の見解のうちに、私たちはルターの要望したものが受け入れられているのを見ることが出来る。

 例えば、教会を「神の民」として叙述すること(これは新教会法の中のメインテーマであって、聖職位階的ではもはやなくなった、民主主義的な教会の見方です)、

 全ての受洗者が司祭職を持つのを強調すること、

 信教の自由への人権を支持する教え、である。

 ルターの時代にルターが要求した他のことは、今日の教会の神学と実践においてかなえられていると言える。例えば、典礼に於いて俗語を使うこと、両形色で聖体拝領すること、聖体祭儀の神学とその執行の刷新がそうである。」

 このことはうまく言い当てています。ルターは自分のことをミサと教皇の確固不動な不倶戴天の敵と宣言しましたが、今教会は彼の要求をかなえているのです!

 ルターは、「私はあらゆる売春宿、殺人、窃盗、姦淫も、この忌まわしいミサほど悪いものではないと宣言する」と冒涜しましたが、教会はこの冒涜者の要求したものを受け入れたのです。

 この様な途方もないようなルターの復帰を見ると、そこから私たちには一つの結論しか導き出すことが出来ません。つまり、私たちはこの様なことを許した第二バチカン公会議を排斥するか、あるいは、十六世紀以来プロテスタント主義を異端的で離教的だと排斥してきたトリエント公会議と全ての教皇たちを排斥するか、のどちらかに一つです。

All our inside sources at the Neo-SSPX indicate that Fellay has had "psychological problems" since his years at the seminary. He had few if any friends, had a dour personality, and was an egotist. Nothing has changed now that he has become Superior-Dictator of the Neo-SSPX and has transformed Archbishop Lefebvre's original traditional Catholic organization into a doppelganger for the Newchurch of the New Order. In particular, his hatred of the SSPX's former senior bishop, Richard Williamson, burns continuously. Williamson is one of the few people who has had the courage to stand up to Fellay and call him out for his treachery to the Archbishop and his traditional Catholic principles.

Fellay's malefaction extends even to impiety. Even the Neo-SSPX world was shocked when, on May 14, Fellay's Prior of Southern France, Renaud de la Motte, at Fellay's order refused Communion to an 87-year-old lady, whose only "sin" was to invite Bishop Williamson for tea. It makes to difference that the lady had funded Fellay's organization for many decades. Fellay's ire against Williamson brooks no exception to his dictatorship, so off with the lady's head!

And why has Fellay reacted in this unCatholic, unChristian way? Our inside sources reveal that Fellay is shaking in his bootstraps because of the ascendency of the Traditional Resistance around the world, which numbers over one hundred former Neo-SSPX priests who have abandoned Fellay because of his pro-New Order policy. As the Traditional Resistance, which regards Bishop Williamson as a kind of counsellor, announces more and more Traditional Latin Mass sites around the world, even more priests, like Prior de la Motte, have been abandoning Fellay. This number of includes, most recently, 20 per cent of his British clergy, including the highly-respected Prior of Great Britain, Ireland, and Scandinavia, Fr. Paul Morgan.

Fellay ordered his Prior de la Motte to tell the elderly lady that she should go to the New Order Fraternity of St. Peter organization and called the once-SSPX supporter a vixen. The prior was so morally troubled by Fellay's vicious and impious behavior toward the elderly lady that he too joined the list of some 100 other priests who have abandoned Fellay.

True Catholics, this story has been replayed over and over in Fellay's Neo-SSPX organization. Devoted laypeople have been defamed, slandered, extorted into obedience, and finally expelled if they do not get into lock-step with Fellay's New Order-bent doctrine. Some former SSPX members have gotten so fed up with Fellay's dictatorship of the once Lefebvran organization that they have instituted a lawsuit against Fellay. Fellay's treason against his Archbishop almost ranks with Francis-Bergoglio's treason against the One whose "vicar" he claims to be: Jesus Christ.
