The heretical Chrismatic Movement caught on nationwide among Newchurchers of the New Order during the first flurry of the Vatican II Anti-council (1962-1965). Known initially as Newchurch "Pentecostalism," the movement is associated with other cult-like, mind-controlling organizations and programmes such as:
- Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD), which was traditional before Vatican II, but afterwards was corrupted)
- Taize
- "Oecumenism"
- Marriage Encounter
- Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), the fake non-sacrament that Newchurch substitutes for the Sacrament of Baptism
- Renew
- Focolare
- Cursillo
- Neo-Catechumenal Way
- Legionnaires of Christ/Regnum Christi
- Communion and Liberation
- Miles Jesu
- Wicca (Gaia)
- Life Teen
These groups deny many Catholic doctrines, such as:
- the necessity of good works for salvation
- the efficacy and need for the Sacrament of Penance
- the redemption of Christ
- the sacrificial nature of the Holy Mass
- the Real Presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament
- Catholic rites and devotions
- the bodily Resurrection of Christ
The heretical Charismatic Movement is far from Catholicism. It represents an almost complete abandonment of even nominally Catholic practices, beliefs, and modes of discourse. Charismaticism is based on the erroneous notion that emotional experience always accompanies the conferral of grace
